"Please can I see Rory and the kids now? I'm fine, I just need my family" Amy looked at the nurse as she brought the ultrasound scanner into the room.
"You can go right after we make sure the baby is okay" the nurse set up the machine and started using it.
Amy watched her and looked at the monitor, "is she okay?"
The nurse looked at the monitor for a few seconds before looking at Amy, "Amy, there's no easy way to say this but..."
"No, please don't say it" Amy teared up, "I know what you're going to say, can you just get Rory please?"
The nurse nodded and stood up, "I'm so sorry Amy".
Amy looked at her and nodded before looking down, wiping tears away, "it's fine, it's okay, I just need my family".
