Chapter Ten

You stand in a stunned silence for a moment. Tears build up in your eyes again. "B...b...but..." You murmured.

"Hey it's okay Y/N." Jessica murmurs. "He probably won't be too happy, but it's not like he's going to give you anything worse than an infringement or a detention."

After a lot of persuasion, Jessica leads you back inside. When you get to the classroom, you see Hannah 'crying' into a tissue in the corner, the teacher fussing over her and the others whispering quietly. You remember the only people that had been in the room when it happened were Hannah's gang.

Soon someone spotted you. The word spread quickly and soon everyone was staring daggers at you.

Mr Cable soon realised the volume had gone down and turns. When he saw you he frowned. "Ah. Y/N. You're back." He glanced over his shoulder worriedly at Hannah who had burst into tears again, fake tears. He turned back round to face you. "I hope you're happy."

"But sir I didn't ..." You begin.

"I don't want to hear about it. You will see me at break in my office." He said and turned to Hannah. "Hannah, you too if you don't mind." His tone and expression gentles.

Hannah nods. When Mr Cable turned to face the rest of the class, she smirks triumphantly at you.

"Go to your first lesson! Now." He told us.

Just as you hurry out your head hung, Newt runs over to you.

"Y/N!" He pulled you into a hug. Then he saw your tear stained cheeks. "Oh Y/N. It's okay... I know you wouldn't have done that. It was Hannah wasn't it. She's always bullying the new kids." He sighs a little.

"You shouldn't be with me, she'll only get angrier," You murmur, though it pains you to say it.

"Oh Y/N." He sighs and gazes into your eyes. "I've decided to break up with her."

"Really?" Excitement suddenly fills you, even though you have just been scolded for something you didn't do.

"But I can't do it now without a reason, because then she'll bully you worse," He said thoughtfully.

You suddenly smile.

"What?" He saw your face.

"Come on, we need to go see Minho and Thomas." You tell him.

"But first lesson starts in two minutes!" He argues.

You sigh. "Good point."

"Lunch time?"

"Okay."
