Hannah immediately spins around and her face softens, you can tell. "Newt!! We were so worried!"
Newt ignored what she said. "Leave my girlfriend alone." He said coldly and pushed past her, and crouched down next to you.
"You okay baby?" He murmured with a gentle but worried smile as he checks you over.
"Fine... Did you really mean that?" You reply with a smile as your heart beats faster.
He nods with a smile. "As of today, you and I are officially dating." He replied and stood up. "And if anyone ever hurts her again, you'll have me, Tommy, minho and ALBY to deal with."
The room silenced at the name Alby, but it is unfamiliar to you. Then Newt grabs your hand and pulls you to your feet and walks out beside you, arm in arm.
Hannah's face is bright red, and her fists are clenched at her sides.
And you have never felt so happy.

Jessica walks beside you, grinning from ear to ear. "I can't believe he did that! You've got a boyfriend Y/N, in your first week at school...lucky, I want one of those!"
"Don't worry, I'll set you up with Tom." You laugh and nudge her as she blushes. Then you frown "hey, where did Newt go?"
"He said he was gonna go find Minho and Thomas, probably gonna boast about how he managed to ask you out first!" Jess laughed back.
Soon your phone buzzes, and you see a text from Newt. 'Don't forget Saturday, txt me your address so I can pick you up for our first date. N xx' it reads.
Jessica must have read over your shoulder because she has a bright smile on. "Ask him what time!"
You nod and text him your address, and then add 'what time?'
'Lunch' comes the reply, and then you turn the phone off.
Jessica squeals and jumps up and down "Text me your address Y/N, you cannot be trusted to get ready on your own for your first date. Be up bright and early!"
"How early is bright and early?" You ask wearily
"6am! See you then!" Jessica laughed and skipped off, probably to go and show off about how her best friend got a boyfriend in her first week.
