Eren waited outside on his balcony for Levi to pick him up. He watched with half lidded eyes as the rain fell from the sky landing on the ground with a soft patter.
He held out a hand and allowed a few droplets of rain to fall on his palm.
He let the rain fill his palm until it began slipping through the slits between his fingers.
He studied the water he held.
How it held the world's reflection as it continued to flow out his palm.
All the mixtures of greens from the tree.
The pinks, reds and oranges from the flowers.
All the gloomy colours from the clouds above.
The rain replayed the world around him with him watching intently.
A honk shattered Eren's thoughts.
"Oi Eren hurry we're gonna be late!"
