Ella strode out of the Hokage's office and released a heavy sigh as she wandered to a secluded spot beneath the night sky. She lay down, gazing at the stars and replaying the night's events in her mind. She couldn't shake off the Hokage's comments, nor the mysterious boy she'd encountered after leaving his office.

-----Flashback-----

Danizo escorted Ella to the Hokage's tower and stopped in front of a door. He knocked, and upon hearing a faint, "Come in," from the Hokage, entered with the red-haired girl in tow. The Hokage peered up at his Anbu and the timid girl by his side.

"A Sakamoto, eh? It's strange that both the Sakamoto and Uchiha clans were massacred on the same night. Was it a planned attack?" he mused.

"Lord Hokage, I have brought the girl from the Sakamoto clan," Danizo informed him.

"I see. Come here, child. Thank you, Danizo; you may leave now."

Danizo bowed and left the room. Ella watched him exit before making her way over to the Hokage. He scrutinized her, taking note of her nervousness as she approached him.

"What is your name?" he asked.

"E-Ella Sa-Sakamoto," she stuttered.

"I see. Do you have any family in the village?" he inquired.

Ella shook her head. "No."

The Hokage then handed her a pouch of money and a key. She examined them before gingerly taking them in her small hands.

"Thank you, Lord Hokage," Ella expressed her gratitude.

The Hokage simply nodded. "I'll have an Anbu escort you to your apartment. Kakashi!"

A teenager wearing an animal mask and styled silver hair appeared at the door. "Yes, Hokage-sama?"

"I need you to guide this girl to her new home," the Hokage ordered.

"Hai, Hokage-sama," Kakashi replied, gesturing for Ella to follow him. They left the Hokage's room and traversed down the stairs, eventually passing by Ichiraku's Ramen shop. The scent of food wafted from the eatery, causing Ella's stomach to growl. She caught Kakashi staring at her and laughed softly, taking his sleeve and leading him inside.

Inside sat a young boy with spiky blond hair and azure eyes. Ella had never seen anyone outside of her clan before, let alone someone with such striking features. Kakashi and Ella sat down, and the owner approached them.

"What would you like?" he asked.

Kakashi declined, but Ella ordered miso ramen. The owner nodded and got to work, leaving the two in silence save for the sound of Naruto's enthusiastic slurping. Ella watched him, finding his behavior amusing. Naruto caught her gaze and pouted, eliciting a giggle from Ella.

"What's so funny?" he whined.

"Nothing much," she giggled. "You just look like ramen is your life source."

He looked at her, baffled. "You're talking to me?"

Ella chuckled, not understanding why it was so shocking. "Of course, that's how you have a conversation."

Kakashi smirked, observing their interaction. "Maybe this girl can save him," he thought.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I'm going to be Hokage one day," Naruto beamed.

"I'm Ella Sakamoto, and it's a pleasure to meet you, Naruto, future Hokage," Ella grinned.

--------Flashback over-------

Ella sighed once more, smiling softly at the night sky and watched how the stars danced against the vast darkness.

----------? POV---------

My heart raced as I ran, fleeing from my drunken, abusive father who had become increasingly violent since my mother's passing. Outside the Village Hidden in Dreams, I wandered aimlessly, trying to erase the haunting image of his face from my mind. As I sat down to catch my breath, a tall, mysterious man with black hair approached me wearing an animal mask, concealing his identity. Instinctively, I assumed a defensive stance and demanded to know his intentions.

"My name is Yemen, and I'm from the Village Hidden in the Leaves," he said, raising his hands in surrender.

The possibility of escaping from my current situation suddenly seemed within reach, and I asked him why he was there.

"I'm on a mission to bring someone back to the village," he replied hesitantly, before finally revealing the name I never expected to hear.

"She goes by the name Selene."

My eyes widened in disbelief as I realized that he was looking for me. Yemen confirmed my suspicion, and soon we were on our way to the Village Hidden in the Leaves. As we arrived at the gates, I couldn't help but notice the two guards who were supposed to be watching them were sound asleep. Yemen and the other masked man simply walked past them, and I followed suit.

As we entered the village, I spotted a girl around my age who seemed to be lost in thought, staring up at the night sky. Yemen and the other man had stopped paying attention to me, giving me the opportunity to approach her. As I sat down next to her, I couldn't help but notice how her green eyes sparkled and her natural red hair framed her face perfectly. Despite not being a nature enthusiast, I found myself admiring the beauty of the sky, which she also seemed to appreciate.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" she asked.

"I suppose it is," I replied awkwardly, wondering why I felt such a strong connection to her, despite having never met her before.
