Liverpool 3-0 Exeter City

MotM- Brad Smith and Christian Benteke

(Set up that beautiful first goal and he's FINALLY learnt not to be so selfish)

We've got goals!!! I was perfectly happy to walk away with one. Jon Flanagan is back! Loads of good play from the kids! All round decent match!

Big shout out to Exeter and fans, you were all brilliant but it just wasn't their day. We had a good 80-90% dominance of this game. This was way more easy listening than heavy metal but I'm glad cos I had a headache for the first 40

Elsewhere Spurs are still in, Leicester are out, Leicester City for the PL, come on!

Enrique's captain, oh no!

(Never heard his name)

Kid's are back again, so are the seniors,

young legs, vs old. (one's 38, 20 years younger than our lot!)

headache's making it hard to concentrate :(

Smith gets it forward,

slips it to Allen and it's netted!!! What?!!

Half time 13 attempts to 0.

Bet Mignolet is well cold stood there with nothing to do but watch.

Exeter, no one would blame you if went home.

Back after the break, time to attack the Kop.

Exeter are back and fighting but not for long.

Flanagan's back! 619 days and Anfield roars for him!

Ibe's desperate for a goal,

He just done a world cup '66,

goal line tech, not given.

OJO! He makes it two!

Ibe's substitued, no Anfield goal debut today.

Benteke doesn't wanna be in the box... (What does he want?)

Teixeira!!! AND Benteke gave it him!!!

"Can't win with kids" Alan Hansen's wrong again.

(why am I so obsessed with that one 20 year old quote?)

Can we see these lot a lot more often please?!

Klopp,

when he loses, he's excited,

when he draws, who knows,

when he wins, he's like regretful.

Author Note- I've kept BT sports 2 on and it's playing the '86 FA cup final, Liverpool-Everton.

Spoiler alert we won 3-1. (Still cheering it like it's live), now 2006 Liverpool-West Ham 3-3, 3-1 penalties. Now 1992 - Sunderland 2-0 What's BT trying to say? lol

If only we had players like we had then. God I miss Stevie G (and other 06 lads, I'm much to young to actually miss the '86 and '92 lads)

Sorry I got distracted, I love a penalty shoot out.
