Dauntless Love

Chapter 8

    Within twenty minutes Four arrives at Stake N' Shake just like he said he'd be. It takes him two minutes but he sees me sitting at a table for two near the window. "Hey. How long have you been waiting for me?" He responds and sits down in front of me.

    "Not that long only about five minutes but its fine. How'd your interview go?" I ask him.

    "It went fairly well I think. How about yours?" He asked me.

    "It went good I think." I say and just then a waitress who looks really familiar comes.

    "Hey guys. What would you two love birds like to drink?" she asks us.

    "Marlene? Is that you?" I ask her

    "In the flesh. What can I get you two to drink?" Marlene asks us

    "Pepsi please." I respond

    "Root beer would be nice." Four responds

    "Sure thing. I'll be back with your guys' drinks." Marlene says and with that she's off.

    "Wow I didn't expect Marlene to work here." I said

    "Neither did I." he said and added "So what would you like to do after this?"

    "I would like to go to the library and go home." I responded

    "Okay Library and then home it is." He says in response and I nod.

     Within two minutes Marlene comes back with our drinks and we both thank her.

    "So what would you like to eat?" She asks us.

    "I'll take a Bacon N Cheese Double with no tomatoes, lettuce, or onion please." I say

    "I'll take a Garlic Steakburger Shooter please." He says.

    "Sure thing guys I'll be back soon with your orders." She says.

    "So what questions did you get asked?" I say.

    "How I got into guns, how well I am at throwing guns and knives, how well I am at hitting the target with both." He responds to my question

    "Cool." I say.

    "What about you? What questions did you get asked?" he asks me

    "What my personality is like, if I remember the first time I went on a zip line, What I meant by was known as the dauntless area of Chicago, if this was my first time being outside of that city, and the jobs I had while I was in Chicago." I said

    "Here's your meals."

      We eat and the food's really good. Then we go to the library and I find the book I was looking for called The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. Then we go home and relax.

    "So what do you want to do right now while we relax?" I ask Four.

    "We can watch a movie. What movie though?" He asks.

    "How about the NeverEnding Story" I say.

    "Yeah sure which one?" he asks

    "The first one is so much better than the second one. So let's watch the first NeverEnding Story." I say and he nods in agreement and puts it on. While I go and make popcorn for the movie.

     The previews and commercials start and we have a bucket full of popcorn and are snuggling on the couch with a blanket over us watching the movie. "I love you Tris. I'm so glad that you chose to become Dauntless because if you hadn't we wouldn't even know each other and life itself would be very different." He says

     I respond saying "I love you too Four and I'm glad I came here too, I definitely made the right choice coming here instead of staying in Abnegation. I'm also glad that I passed the initiation and became a member of Dauntless." As soon as I say this someone knocks on our door. "I'll get it." I say.

   "Hey Tris. What's up?" Chris says and she walks in.

   "Nothing really what about you?" I respond closing the door after letting her in.

   "Nothing really just getting stuff ready for the wedding and planning it with Will while working." She says.

   "Yeah how's that working out for you two?" I ask. Four than sees Chris and walks over to us.

    "Hey Chris." He says and then focuses on the movie as it's about to start.

    "It's actually working out well. We have the majority of it done. I want to ask you a question about it. Hey Four." She responds

    "That's good. You know if you need any help planning the wedding I'll be glad to help. Sure what's the question?" I ask her

    "Okay. I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Would you like to be my Maid of Honor?" she asks me.

    "I'd love to Chris!! Hey would you like to join us we're watching The NeverEnding Story the first one because the first one is much better than the second one." I ask her

    "No thanks though. I should be going. Here's what I actually came here for. Here's your guys' invitation to the wedding." She says and hands me it.

    "Thanks Chris. Would you like to be my Maid of Honor?" I ask.

    "Sure thing. Now I should be going. I'll see you two love birds later. Good bye." She says

    "Okay. See you later. Bye." I respond closing the door and jumping on to the couch into Four's lap just in time for the movie to begin.

    "Hey babe." Four responds.

    "Hey. We should really plan for the wedding soon." I respond to him

    "Okay. We will after this movie though, right now I want to enjoy a great movie with my wonderful fiancé." He says

    "K. Aww Thanks I think you're wonderful too." I say responding to his cute comment.

    "You're welcome. Thanks." He says

    "You're welcome." I respond and watch the movie cuddled up into his arms under a blanket.

Hey there my lovely readers. So I am making a promise to every reader for every book I ever made that I am going to update at least once every two months. I went and saw The 5th Wave yesterday afternoon and it was really good.  I spent a lot of time on Polyvore yesterday getting all of the outfits for the weddings and details ready so the wedding are going to be really descriptive and have a picture for each wedding. Sadly though, I can't add more than two photos so I'll decide on what to do so that you can see both the bride and her bridesmaid and Maid of honor outfits along with the groom and his groomsmen outfits.  I hope that you enjoyed it and that you have a great day.
