Together (a rex and ashoka love story)

Mission to oasis 3

General obi-wan kenobi sends Captain Rex, Ashoka tano and some of Rex's most trusted men on a very important mission to the deserted moon of oasis 3 and they receive help from an unlikely hero. The question is...is he friend or foe?
"General kenobi were all here what is the problem?" asked Rex "well captain after felucia it is crucial that we find the sepratists that were there. I have received some intel that they are now on oasis 3" replied obi-wan "oasis 3? I've never even heard of that planet" said Rex "that's because it's not a planet captain...its a moon, and not a very pretty one either its been deserted for the past 7 years ever since the sepratists tested a bomb there" replied obi-wan. "Why would the droids go back there then? are they dumb?" asked rex "i don't know why captain but you need to go there as soon as possible, but the thing is even i don't know where the moon is anymore. But there is one fellow who can help. his name is jorrick he's a bounty hunter he's wanted by the republic and the sepratists, But he is the only one who knows the moon better then anyone." replied obi-wan "well...how are we gonna find him?" asked Rex "you will find him in any cantina on tatooine so i say you start there" said obi-wan and with that Rex, ashoka and the other clones were off but they needed a ship and supplies first so while echo, fives, kix, jesse, and hardase and dogma got the supplies Rex went to find ashoka "where is it where is it?" Rex over heard her say to herself from her room "*knock knock knock* comm-..i mean Ashoka? can i come in?" asked Rex through the lifeless door (obviously!) "yeah yeah come in Rex.." she said Rex walked in the room to see a mess of clothes, magazines and other stuff. "everything okay" Rex hesitated to ask her "i can't find my cloak i don't want all those scum-balls in the cantina to know i'm a jedi!" Ashoka told Rex. Rex looked to his left at a chair and saw the cloak "erm...is this is Ashoka?" he asked she looked over at him "YES!" she yelled Rex threw it at her it covered her face "HEY!! help me you big dummy!" she said Rex just laughed as she pulled it off her head tails and buckled it "not funny" she said giving him a *your a jerk!* look Rex just laughed then they made their way to the docking bay. "everything's ready captain! the ships have supplies and were ready to make our way to tatooine" echo said sounding proud but his pride was cut short when a ball of grease hit his face echo, Rex and Ashoka looked to their right to see who threw it, and of course it was none other than fives! "FIVES I'M GONNA KILL YOU. YOU SON OF A CHARAAK!!" echo yelled running after fives who of course went to hide behind kix "alright boys! lets keep our minds on the mission!" said Rex and with that they were off to tatooine to find a bounty hunter so they had plenty to talk about on their journey. "why do we need a WANTED bounty hunters help?" dogma asked "not 100% sure general kenobi said he's the only one who knows his way around oasis 3" replied Rex. the entire trip to tatooine Rex's men were complaining about how they needed a bounty hunters help and they made sure they mentioned about a million times that he was WANTED. about 2 hours later they arrived on tatooine "alright me and as-...commander tano will go check this watering hole you all stay here. This shouldn't take more than a few minuets." Rex told his men "sir yes sir!" they all said simultaneously so Rex and Ashoka walked off the gunship and into the cantina. Ashoka put her hood up because she didn't want anyone to know she was a jedi but everyone their still turned to see who had walked in the door and when they saw a clone they all acted kinda weird (weird even for bounty hunters and local drunks) Rex ordered a drink and sat at a booth with ashoka they kept their eye's peeled for the man obi-wan had described "red hair, scar on his face, shifty looking" rex said quietly to Ashoka "they all look shifty to me" replied Ashoka "look over there! red hair and a scar over his eye. That must be him" Rex said. So with that Rex and Ashoka got up from their booth Rex gulped down his drink and they made their way over to the red haired shifty looking man who was playing cards with a rodian and two smugglers. they walked up to the table where they were at and the man looked over at them and said "the hell you lookin at?" asked the man "we were told that you could help us, we need to find something on oasis 3" Rex replied to the man "I don't know what your talking about" the man said to Rex. "I think you do know! obi-wan kenobi sent us and you will help us or so help me-" Ashoka started but Rex cut her off. He didn't want her to scare him away or ruin their chances of finding and destroying the droids on oasis 3. "What my friend here meant to say was well obi-wan kenobi did send us but we need your help he said your the only one who knows the way around oasis 3. There's a droid base there and we need to find and destroy it" Rex said "obi-wan kenobi huh? i remeber him that son of a charaak tried to kill me! why should i help you?" replied the man rather angrily. "We have money we'll pay you for your services.." Rex told the man "well that changes things..how much you willing to pay?" the man asked rex now intrigued "how much do you want?" Rex asked "10,000 credits!" the man said "WHAT! 10,00 it's just a trip to oasis 3!" Ashoka said furiously "well if you want to find it and you don't want to die when you get there i'm your guy. Try finding some other loser to take you there" the man replied rather cocky. "no no no we'll pay the 10,000 credits.." Rex said sounding defeated "good. your barely worth my time" said the man and so the three of them headed out of the cantina and on to the gunship where Rex's men were arguing about some nonsense. they stopped when they saw their commander and captain. "is this the uh..bounty hunter that's gonna help us?" asked echo "yes echo this is him" Rex told him "what's your name anyway?" Ashoka asked "i could tell you but then i'd have to kill you kid" replied the man in a cocky tone. Ashoka just shot him a look and then her eyes went out the windows of the ship. "SIR! THERE"S AN ASTROID FIELD DIRECTLY AHEAD OF US!" bomber yelled through the com-link "is there any way around it bomber?" Rex asked "no sir, i'm afraid not!" he replied "let me up into the cock-pit! i can navigate us out of this!" the man told them. "bomber...get down here and let um..the bounty hunter up there, QUICKLY!" Rex yelled and with that bomber was with the rest of them and the man hurried to the cock-pit all was well at first but then all hell broke loose! vulture droids were hiding on the asteroids "looks like those droids you said were here are expecting you!" the man yelled "well shoot em down!" rex yelled back at the man "bomber get into the co-pilot seat and help whats-his-name" ashoka ordered and bomber did as he was told. They were shooting down droids but and asteroid they didn't notice behind them hit one of the main engines. They were nearing the moon "were gonna crash!" ashoka said "brace yourselves!" rex ordered they were in the planets atmosphere and the ship got faster and it crashed! Luckily they could see the base in the distance. It was only about 10 clicks to the west. Everyone exited the ship..or what remained of the ship...and did a head count "is everyone here!?" Rex asked they all looked around "yeah, were all here sir!" echo told him "I thought you said you could fly!!" ashoka yelled at the man he just laughed "it wasn't me kid..it was the ship" he said and he smirked and looked off into the distance "i can see the base and judging by the distance i'd say its bout 10 clicks" kix said. "alright men, let's roll out!" rex ordered. "oh...by the way the names jorrick!" the man said "now were getting somewhere!" ashoka said. "ugh, how much further Rex?" ashoka asked sounding exhausted "not much further lil'un" Rex reassured her "yeah i know but i mean HOW MUCH further?" she asked again "i'd say 5 clicks!" fives said. "how exactly do you know this moon so well Jorrick?" Rex asked "i used to hideout here and loot factorys when i was on the run from the republic" jorrick said "before the sepratists used it as a bomb testing grounds right?" ashoka asked. "Well obviously!" jorrick replied. Only about an hour of walking later they all arrived at the base. But the weird thing was there were no droids. "i think their expecting us sir" dogma said "I know dogma, i could smell the trap from a mile away" Rex said "then why the hell are we here?!" jorrick asked. "Because we need to blow up this base. For all we know it could be transmitting and calling reinforcements" Rex told him. Ashoka used her lightsaber to open the door. "Wait your a...jedi?!" jorrick asked "well duh,why else would i be on a mission with a bunch of clones?" she said sarcasticly. And they continued. they walked into the base guns ready but there were no droids "I've got a bad feeling about this.." Rex said. They kept on walking guns always ready ashoka had her lightsaber ignited and used it as a light. It was rather dark in there but luckily they had Ashoka's lightsaber and the clones helmet lights. "check the rooms!" rex ordered. The men checked the rooms but they were empty. they came to the last door at the end of the hallway and opened it and they saw at least 200 activated droids "ah krif!" rex said "BLAST EM" the lead droid yelled. The clones, ashoka and jorrick started shooting down droids left and right "we can't hold them off for long, were out numbered!" jorrick yelled "retreat to the outside of the base!" rex ordered they started running but it was too late the droids had called in reinforcements 2 droid ships dropped down 100 more droids. "300 vs. 9? i like my odds" jorrick said. They were all shooting down..or in ashoka's case cutting down..droids left and right "echo pleas etell me you set the detnators in the base?" rex asked "yes captain i was setting them as we were walking through!" he said "...WELL?!?" rex yelled "oh..right.." echo said slightly embarresed. He clicked the button and BOOOM WENT THE DROID BASE!! along with about 100 dumb battle droids "i'll call in a gunship to pick us up!" ashoka yelled "good idea!" rex replied as he dodged a blaster bullet that went right past his head. "thats the last of em!" jorrick said "look! the gunsip!" ashoka yelled sounding very excited. The gunship landed and they were on their way home..well to corasant at least. "Thanks jorrick, you did a great service today!" rex said "eh..it was nothin'" he replied "the chancelor will be there to congratulate you" ashoka told jorrick "oh he will huh?" he said quietly. After they arrived at the senate building they were all ready for the chancelor "well where is the man i must congratulate? i have a busy scedual" the chancelor asked impatiently "he's right he-" rex started but saw he was gone "he was right here!" rex said then he looked up and saw a ship with jorrick in it he opened the top and said "DON'T WORRY ABOUT MY PAY CAPTAIN I STOLE IT FROM YOU WHEN YOU WERE TALKING TO THE TOGRUTA GIRL!" he yelled and Rex looked at his belt and saw no money pouch "SEE YA LATER SUCKERS!" he yelled and the top closed and he was gone. "i have a feeling we will be seeing him again" ashoka said "Let's hope not.." Rex said and they laughed. So with that they went back to their base and headed to the mess hall and talked about the mission with some of the other men who had heard rumors. ..To be continued......

authors note: i hope you all enjoy Jorrick is based off my big brother (one of them) i know some of the battle was rushed and echo setting the detnators wasn't mentioned till the battle but...i figured hey what the krif? well just know this isn't the last of jorrick you will be seeing...i mean reading. NEXT CHAPTER COMING SOON!! i promise the next chapter will have some rexsoka fluff okay? i just didn't wanna do to much. my brother wanted an action packed chapter so...yeha.. ENJOY!!!!! :)
