Together (a rex and ashoka love story)

"I will not give up!"

Captured! Ashoka tano while on a mission with a group of younglings. Ashoka was captured by Hondo and his band of pirates! Will Rex come to his Fiance's rescue or be kicked off the mission completely? Read and find out! :D

Rex's POV

Rex was bored without Ashoka around, He would just sit around his room playing video games or eating Hardcase's cookies. But nothing would prepare him for what awaited him in the war room. Rex's comm link bleeped and he answered, "Captain Rex here!" He said "Rex! Get to the war room now!" Anakin yelled through the comm. So Rex did, he ran to the Base and found Anakin in the War room, "General, What's wrong?" Rex said out of breath, "It's...Ashoka...She's been captured, And the younglings she was taking to get their krystals are on a ship out in space somewhere!" Anakin informed Rex, "Who captured her?!" Rex asked sounding horrified, "We don't know. One of the younglings was about to say but the transmission broke up.." Anakin replied, "Then we need to start a search!" Rex said pulling up Ashoka file in the computer so he could find her comms tracking device. "Good you start that and i'll find Obi-wan so maybe he and the 212th can help as well" Anakin said as he sprinted off. Hours had past, Rex staring at the holomonitor, smashed his fists on the table causing the few men that were in the room with his to jump. "Damn!" Rex yelled, Then Cody walked in the room, "Rex..You okay?" He asked smirking slightly, "No! I am not okay! My fiance is lost somewhere with those filthy pirates who are doing only Yoda knows what to her!" Rex yelled flailing his arms slightly. "we'll find her..Don't worry." Cody stated, "I hope so.." Rex said quietly looking back at the hologram. More and more hours passed, nothing, Rex was getting angry and his men scared, And his general upset. "Rex..Settle down! we will find her, Be patient!" Anakin said getting frustrated, "We can't just sit here! Why not go find that ship containing the younglings and have them tell us where they took her! Maybe their close to the planet the pirates are on!" Rex Said, "Rex, I am the general here! Not you!" Anakin shouted. A day had past, Rex didn't sleep he just stayed staring at that hologram, "Caf sir?" A shiny asked, "No..." Rex said groggy rubbing his eyes, "Rex, We're taking you off the mission. You haven't slept for a day and you haven't eaten either. Go rest then when your attitude has changed come back" Anakin stated as he walked back in. "Sir-" Rex started "No! Go!" Anakin yelled. Rex came back a few hours later he had eaten and rested his eyes. "Rex...we can't keep this up...We will have to face the fact that...Ashoka's gone" Anakin said as he turned to see Rex in the doorway, "What!? No! Who did you get those orders from?" Rex asked, "The chancellor..." Anakin told him. And with that all the clones left and Anakin walked out the door. The chancellor had ordered Fox and 3 other men to secure the room so no one could get in. Rex waited until night and then snuck down the halls to the war room only to find Fox, "Rex..Go back to your quarters." Fox stated, "Fox..You don't understand i have to find her!" Rex told him, "No...Back to your quarters...Now!" Fox said a little louder, Rex clenched his fists and said "You are nothing but a worthless pile of shavit you know that! I have to find my fia-....Commander.." He didn't tell anyone about them aside from the 501st and the few commanders that were his friends. "I don't like you either but yet i have to put up with you because i have to follow orders!" Fox yelled, Then Rex punched him unconsious...again...The other men left without a word. Rex went inside the room and pulled up the tracking device on her comm and it came up! She was on florum, The pirates planet. Rex ran to the ship yard to find Fives and Echo talking with Hawk. "Rex? what are you doin here this late?" Echo asked, "I'm going to find Ashoka, you either tell on my and i kill you or follow me to florum!" Rex said not breaking stride to the 501st gunship, "only if we can come!" Shouted hardcase along side Kix and Jesse. So with that Fives,Echo,Kix,Jesse,Hardcase and Hawk were on their way to florum. They arrived at 3 in the morning, Undetected they walked to the pirates town that was 5 clicks to the west from them. They walked and walked until they reached the walls of the hold-out. They sneaked in and got to where Hondo's little bar was, Hiding in the vents Rex could see Ashoka floating in a shock chamber. He felt his blood boil and he dropped down from the vents, The others followed, Guns pointed at them and they pointed their guns at the pirates. "Well well well, What have we here!? Clones?" Hondo said in his cheery voice. "You let her go and we won't hurt you!" Rex told the pirates, "I think it is you, Who would be the ones getting hurt" Hondo stated as Rex and his men looked around to see that they were surrounded by pirates, Outnumbered, "Now..You go, And i won't kill her." Hondo said as he snapped his fingers and Ahsoka got shocked. "Ashoka!" Rex yelled trying to run to her but the guns raised higher, Rex stepped back, "How about an exchange?" Rex said desperate. "How about 20,000 Credits for her? Please?" Rex said pleadingly , "No, i don't want money...I need a slave...How about one of those clones you have? One of them for the girl" Hondo negotiated, Rex looked back at them..."How about..me for her..?" Rex said looking down in defeat, "that i will do!" Hondo said happily, He dropped Ashoka out of the shock chamber, "Men take her back and get her the help she needs..Don't..Come..back.." Rex stated, The men looked at each other sadly and left their Captain as he did the most heroic thing he could, Risk his life..for his love. They left and Rex turned back to Hondo, "Take his armor and guns!" Hondo ordered two of his men. So with that rex was in a skirt like thing and sandals, Defenseless, They hooked Rex up to the shock chamber and laughed whenever they electrecuted him. A few hours had passed Rex was almost unconscious, Then Hondo told his men to let him down. Hondo went outside and watched the circus that came ever other month for the enjoyment of the pirates. Rex knelt down beside Hondo's throne and hung his head in shame. He felt broken and useless. "I can not believe this, I am the brave fierce captain of the 501st clone battalion, And here i am kneeling beside the throne of a scummy pirate! I will not take this!" Rex thought to himself and he stood up and pounced he had Hondo in a head lock choking him. Then Hondo's men pulled him away, "I hate to do this but..You two take him and teach him a lesson!" Hondo ordered as he rubbed his throat. They took Rex to a dungeon type place and whipped him, Half an hour of aggonizing pain later, They stopped and left him there, Bleeding scars on his back. A day later, Rex had given up, He hadn't ate or slept, His spirit was broken, He gave in. Hondo had him as a servant, Fetching his drinks doing as he was told. The only thing keeping him from going completely insane was Ashoka. The image of her, The memories of her, That's what kept him going day after day of whippings and shocking pain. Two days later. Rex was getting angry now, His pent up rage getting his best, He choked a pirate to death and dislocated two others right arms, Which got him more punishments. Rex couldn't stand straight, His back burned from the scars that were still bleeding. Rex was being moved back to his cell one night when he heard one of the pirates say "I miss the female togrutan that was here, She had an ass on her!" Then the fire was rekindeled, Rex exploded he grabbed the two pirates and smashed their heads together  knocking them unconscious, He ran to a room where there was a comm, He found the scramble for Fives comm and called, "Fives! COme and get me now!" Rex said through the comm "Yes sir!" Fives replied. The next day a gunship arrived with Rex's best men. They took out most pirates and negotiated with Hondo and got Rex back. They got back to coruscant where on the docking bay stood a very angry Anakin Skywalker. Rex stepped off the ship beaten and bloody and saw Ashoka running to him, "Rex! Your alive!" She exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a hug, "I'm here...I'm alive.." Rex said hugging her back, "What you did was wreck less...But you saved Ashoka...Good work Rex" Anakin said. Ashoka took Rex to Kix's med room and got him bandaged and patched up. After that they went to get some food and rest. "I'm glad your still alive Rex...I thought those pirates would have killed you" Ashoka said as she ran her fingers through Rex's short hair, "Like one of those pirates could kill me.." Rex said cockily. Ashoka giggled, "I will never understand you...And that's one of the many..Many reasons i love you" Ashoka said smiling, "love you too littl'un.." Rex said smiling and falling asleep in her warm embrace. To be continued..
