The New Girls Got A Crush

Brittna, The new girl, Has got a crush! He's awkward, He's strong, He's amazing. He's Rex as you know. No one knows that it's Rex though. The 501st and the Wolf Pack head to secret planet on a secret mission, Brittna being the 2nd Commander of the Wolf Pack, Comes along as well. Ashoka has Jedi training to so with Anakin so she isn't assigned to the mission. What will happen if Brittna gets too close to Rex? What will Rex's reaction be? What will happen when Ashoka finds out who Brittna's crush is? Will Rex be awkward? Why am i asking so many questions? Will someone stop me? Why am i listening to The dragonborne comes so much? Ashoka's POV

Ashoka woke up the next morning to find Rex gone. She got dressed and headed to the mess, He wasn't there. She went to the Gym, Negative. Then she got a call on her comm, "Ashoka Tano here!" She answered, "Hey there sleeping beauty" A familiar, Deep voice replied. "Rex!? Where are you?" She asked worriedly, "War room. Skywalker needs you as well. Say's he needs to talk to ya! Probably mad about what you did to his underware" Rex said through the comm. "What about underware?" Anakin said in the background. "Be there in 5! You are so dead Rexter!" Ashoka said. So with that Ashoka was running to the base war room. When she arrived she found her master, Wolfe, Rex and Master Plo, Also Brittna. "Sorry i'm late! What'd i miss?" Said Ashoka out of breath. "Nothing aside from a strategy, And the whole master plan.....Commander Tano" Said Brittna. "Sorry" Ashoka said slightly annoyed, "Okay, So Rex you will take the 501st and Wolfe you take the Wolf pack of course. Padawan Brittna, You will help lead the assault. Ashoka, You and me have some Jedi training to do." Anakin stated, "As for you Master Plo. Where will you be?" Anakin asked. "Wait! I have to stay here!? Why!?" Ashoka shouted confused. "Ashoka! Don't interrupt." Anakin commanded. "It's quite alright Skywalker. She has the right to be angry." Plo Koon said calmly. "little 'Soka. You must practice your abilities. That is why you will not be on Serenno leading the assault." Plo told the young Togrutan. "Yes Master" Ashoka said looking embarrassed. Rex looked at her sympitheticly. "Are we all clear now?" Skywalker asked, "Yes sir!" The clones said in unison. "Yes master skywalker" Brittna said bowing slightly. "Yes master." Ahoka said slouching. So with that, They all left the war room. Rex and Wolfe were getting their men ready, And brittna kept her eyes on Rex. Rex tried to ignore it, He felt very uncomfortable. "I can't believe this! I so want to go along and kick dooku's butt! It's not fair!" Ashoka complained. Rex listened. "Well, Maybe it's a good thing!" Rex said trying to cheer her up. "Maybe he sensed that you would get hurt! Or....Erm, Something....Don't really know how you Jedi work" Rex said shrugging. Ashoka rolled her eyes and smiled at him. Rex returned the smile. "How long will you be away?" Ashoka asked curiously. "Probably a day or so..." Rex said looking down at her. "Well....I'll wait for you! And maybe when you have free time, You can comm me?" Ashoka asked nervously. "Course i will!" Rex said smiling, And he hugged her. "I'm gonna miss you." Ashoka said into his chest. "I'm gonna miss you too, Littl'un. But i'll be back" Rex said reassuring her. SO their embrace ended and Rex was on a cruiser headed for Serenno. Ashoka held the necklace Rex gave her in her hand and close to her heart. "good luck" She whispered. Ashoka went to find Anakin, She found him in the sparring hall. "Did you say goodbye to you lovey boy snips?" Anakin asked smirking. Ashoka rolled her eyes. "Ready?" He asked, "As i'll ever be" She shrugged. So Anakin and Ashoka trained with their lightsabers and with the force. Ashoka worked on her Gymnastics training and focus. Which she didn't do so well on. "Snips. Focus!" Anakin said in a commanding manner. "I'm sorry master, It's just too hard to focus knowing Rex could get hurt and i wouldn't be there." Ashoka said frustrated. "He'll be fine! Now FOCUS!" Anakin said demanding. 

Rex's POV 

The cruiser arrived over Serenno about two hours after they left, Brittna, For some reason, Had been getting a little too close to the Captain for his liking. Rex was getting sweaty and awkward. They landed in Gunships and the sneaking began. Rex and Wolfe took small battalions and snuck around in the forest. Rex had Brittna and about twenty other men. Wolfe had a larger battalion of thirty men with him. Rex was heading east and Wolfe West. They needed to search and make sure there were no traps or droids around. They would meet back in the middle after they secured everything. Rex was behind a rock with Brittna beside him, She was close to him, Very Close. Too close. Rex scooted away slightly pretending as if he were just scoping out the perimiter. He was looking through the binoculars and he saw a droid battalion of at least a hundred. "Wolfe. Battalion of a hundred heading our way. Get to us pronto." Rex whispered through his comm. Rex stood up and started firing. His men followed his example. Brittna extended her sabers and started deflecting bullets back at the droids. Rex moved forward when he saw the Wolfe Pack coming to help. Rex and his men kept moving up taking cover behind some rocks and scrap metal. Then, More droids came after them. Wolfe charged right at them! "Crazy kriffing idiot!" Rex shouted as he did the same. They were shooting down droids left and right, Protecting each others backs. "Oh man. Ashoka i could really use your help right about now" Rex mumbled to himself. They took down the last of the droids and headed towards the temple Dooku was hiding in. "Okay. Commander, Miss. You take a man of your choice and crawl through the vents of that base. The rest of us will stay here in case more droids come poking about." Rex stated. "One solider? Why one?" She asked confused. "Because ma'am, If to many of us go, We'll make noise. Let's face it we're all a lot bigger then you. Meaning we probably make more noise" Rex replied looking at a data pad. "Okay then Captain, I choose you." She said. "Wha-? Um, Alright then.....Wolfe, You and Fives are in charge. Don't let no clankers over run you" Rex said. Brittna removed the vent cover and she and Rex crawled through. They needed to locate the bomb room so they could blow it up and high tail the heck out of there! Rex was behind Brittna, Thinking about nothing really. Just about why she chose him. And why she was being so..Clingy. Then it hit him, Brittna had a crush on him! Rex's eyes popped out of his head and he felt awkward. And he felt as if somehow he was betraying Ashoka because this young woman has a crush on him. He just hoped Ashoka would never find out, She would probably rip Brittna's head off. They located the bomb room. Rex dropped down first and signaled to Brittna it was safe. Rex found a large explosive and started fiddling with it as Brittna watched the door. "captain...I...Um, Want to tell you something." Brittna said blushing. "Er, What is it" Rex said not paying any attention to her, If he didn't focus on the bomb, He would most likely end up exploding himself. "I, Um, I really like you." She said, Rex nearly dropped the bomb. His eyes were wide. Brittna made her way over to Rex and removed his helmet. "Whoa whoa whoa. Listen, Commander." Rex started and grabbed his helmet. "I think your nice but...I don't feel the same way, I'm sorry." Rex said quickly. "Oh..." Brittna said embarrassed. She face palmed herself and was most likely scolding herself. Rex finished up the bomb in awkward silence. "Captain. Could you at least tell me why you don't like me?" She asked cautiously. "Um, Not my type?" Rex replied, More of a question. "Your lying" She said a bit louder. "Okay, Fine...I have my eyes on someone else....How's that for ya!? Now can we go before this bombs goes off with us in here!?" Rex said impatiently. Rex and Brittna crawled back through the vents. They got out just in time. As soon as they were ten feet away from the base it exploded! They all ran. Back to the gunships. They flew back to the cruiser. Rex stood by the window on the bridge. Rex started at space as they were going through hyperspace. Rex started walking back to his room, He bumped into Brittna, "Sorry.." Rex said not paying any attention as he was digging through his pockets. He lost his comm. "damn.." Rex said quietly. Rex went to his quarters and waited until they returned to coruscant. When they got back Rex hurried to find Ashoka. Rex exited the ship and saw her sitting on a crate staring at her comm. Rex snuck up on her, She didn't see him. "Excuse me miss? Have you seen my fiance? She's about your height and very beautiful!" He said holding out a hand. "Rex!" Ashoka shouted as she jumped into his arms hugging him. "I missed you! Even though you were only gone a day." Ashoka said. "Missed you too Soka" Rex said smiling as he wrapped his arms around her. Brittna noticed this and took the hint. "Hey, Um...Soka. Brittna told me something..." Rex started awkwardly. "What's that?" She asked smiling. "Well. You know how you told me she told you, That she has a crush?" Rex asked, "Yeah?" Ashoka replied curiously. "Well, She told me that she likes me.." Rex said looking down. Ashoka got up and walked away. Rex followed afraid of what she would do. Ashoka found Brittna. "So i hear you have a crush on Rexter?" Ashoka asked her politely, "Uh, Well i did. He told me he has his eyes on someone else." She replied quietly. "Well, Don't be afraid to have feeling for someone else just because this didn't happen. Plus, It's against the rules" Ashoka stated kindly. And she walked away towards the Barracks. Rex went to the Barracks as well to get some much needed rest and food. Rex opened the door to his room, he found Ashoka laying on the bed reading. "What was that about?" Rex asked "Well. In this war, We still need friends. Did you really think i was gonna destroy her? I'm not shallow." Ashoka said smirking. She stood up. Rex hugged her again and kissed her softly. "I'm just glad my hero is back safe" Ashoka said looking Rex in the eyes. "I'm glad to be back, Now, Let's go get some grub. I'm starving!' Rex said smiling. After they ate, It was dark so they went to bed. "We're one step closer to winning this war.." Rex said quietly as he held Ashoka in his arms. "So close yet so far" Ashoka Replied. And they fell asleep dreaming of life after the war. To Be Continued.
