I wandered down the school hallways, it's been about a month being Delilah and to be honest, I don't know if I can bare it any longer. I haven't spoken to her for about 2 weeks? It doesn't matter to me because quite frankly I (she) had a few friends that were actually decent. I'm not saying that I thought all her friends were bookworms or adventurous - they seemed like any others. God, I really need to stop stereotypicalising.

"Delilah? Can you hold this for sec?" Isla asked, tilting her head a little bit as she realised I was daydreaming.

"Uh- yeah sure!" I beamed, my eyes becoming wide as I entered reality.

Isla giggled at me and handed her folder into my hands as she combed her hair, natural beauty. Yeah, I find Isla hot, so what? I'm still a guy, I just look like a girl...

"Guys, we made it in the football team!" I turned around, looking at these guys that were gasping for air after running perhaps. I'm guessing these guys were Grant and Jonah.

"Congrats, you guys deserved it!" I beamed, I don't know who they are but you always got to be polite. Jonah smiled at me, blushing and looking down towards the floor.

"Thanks, sorry if I blushed - it just means a lot-" He replied proudly but quietly before Grant interrupted.

"It means a lot to us, I mean it's probably just like buying a new painting kit for you guys." Grant chuckled at his own joke. Never really knew Grant in my former body but I borrowed pencils off him for a chemistry test so he seems chill.

"Thanks Grant." Isla said sarcastically,"Well, me and Grant have Maths next so we'll see you at lunch?" i nodded, gazing into the distance as I watched them walk away until Jonah snapped me out if my gaze.

"You alright there?" He smirked, chuckling as I turned towards him. I quickly nodded, rubbing my eyes. Well I must be tired...

"Good because like you were zoning out and I- well was uhm...just-"Jonah stuttered before I interrupted him.

"Don't know how to keep a conversation, do you?" I jokingly snapped, lightly laughing. He shook his head as we started to head over to Art - my supposedly favourite subject.

I hadn't seen Beau for a week, it didn't bother me because I didn't want to see him to be honest, man up as Beau's bros say.

"Found any decent chicks Beau?" Nathan asked, lightly smirking as we walked into the main school hallways, heading into the Gym department.

"God no, they're pissing me off." I sighed, running a hand through my hair.

"I know how you feel Beau, some of them are trying to play the love game- Oh, what happened between you and Delilah?" Nathan said with his eyebrow raised up, nudging me slightly.

"Be-Delilah? Nothing, I don't want to see her." I scoffed, seeing Beau with my group of friends.

I did miss them all, not talking about my interests to those who understand how I felt so ecstatic when I get new art kits.

"Good bro, she's talking to that Jonah kid who made the football team - he is pretty good if you ask me." Nathan said, I replied with an 'mhm' as Nathan began to approach the pair, whilst I just trailed behind him.

"Jonah - nice football work! Well done for making it on the team." Nathan cheered, patting Jonah's back. Jonah wasn't a lad, I'm pretty sure he didn't enjoy that.

"Uh-thanks Nathan,"Jonah smiled. I didn't bother giving Beau any contact as we walked away, I know I can't avoid him but since I'm stuck like this then I guess we will have to talk.
