*Hayes' POV*

"Can America come over?" Daniel asked.

"Sure." I shrugged.

"Thanks."

I nodded as I stood up and walked out of my room. I could hear my mom humming in the kitchen.

"Mom?" I called.

"What's up?"

"Angele needs a place to stay after her plane comes in... can she stay here?"

"Of course."

"Thank you!" I wrapped my arms around her slim shoulders.

She wrapped her arms around my waist, "You guys cannot sleep in the same room."

"Yep. It's the same rules as when America crashes here with Daniel."

"Yes, it is." She smiled and pulled away.

I grabbed a bag of pretzels and walked back upstairs.

"When is America stopping by?" I asked Daniel sitting on my bed.

"Maybe three minutes. Give or take. Why?"

"Just wanna get a game plan."

Nash stepped into my room, "It's Angele's birthday today right?"

"Mhmm." I responded through a mouth full of pretzels.

"What're you gonna do for it?"

"Well she doesn't get into town till tomorrow night... So we will probably just stay in and watch movies. Sunday, I'm wanting to take her out on the lake."

"That was weird..." Daniel said as he raised an eyebrow.

"It's Nash what else do you expect?" Cameron chuckled.

I nodded as the door bell rang, startling Daniel. I chuckled earning a death glare. He ran a hand through his dark hair trying to keep his cool.

"It's probably America." He stated.

"I know."

Daniel shook his head and stood.

"What was that for?" I asked defensively."

"You could show some enthusiasm."

"You really want me to be stoked to see your girlfriend?"

"Good point." Daniel nodded as he stepped out of my bedroom.

"What's wrong?" Cameron asked sitting up as he put his phone on my desk.

"Nothing." I shrugged.

"Bull."

I smirked, "You never were easy to lie too."

"And you were never a good liar. Now spill."

"Lost in thought I guess. I've been trying for two years to see Angele and now it's finally happening... and I'm not prepared."

Cameron chuckled, "You should like a teenage girl at a meet and greet."

"Shut up!" I threw a pillow at him playfully causing him to laugh.

Daniel stepped back into the room, his girlfriend following. America was wearing a floral print top and dark washed jeans. Her dark hair was covering her face slightly.

"Hey, Hayes." She said softly.

"Hey America." I raised my hand in a slight wave.

"I heard your friend from San Antonio is moving here. You excited?"

"Nervous actually."

"Hm. How come?"

"She's changed a lot..."

"So have you."

"I guess."

"Hey, she'll love you, and if she doesn't. She's missing out. Cause you're pretty cool to hang out with."

I smiled. America always knew how to cheer anyone and everyone up.

"What're you guys gonna do on the lake on Sunday?" Daniel asked.

I shrugged, "I don't know. Probably catch up."

"You should make her lunch!" America said excitedly.

"That's a good idea." Daniel nodded.

"Suck up." America said simply before pecking his cheek.

"Ew! Gross guys." I said as I threw another pillow towards them.

Daniel batted it away, "You're just jealous."

"He won't have to be for long." Cameron said as he moved his eyebrows up and down.

"She's just a friend!"

"Sure she is." Daniel and Cameron said in sync.

I rolled my eyes and turned my attention to my phone. I started looking up different recipes. I was going to make Angele's late birthday celebration amazing.
