I stayed on my knees as I looked at Merrans and Ragniels dead bodies on the floor.

I heard banging on the glass door to the end of the room.

I looked to see police bash through the glass and run in, rifles at the ready.

A man in a wheelchair followed them.

He... its... it's that officer... Jerry.

The policemen quickly ran to my brother's dead bodies and pronounced them dead.

One of them came up to me, his rifle aimed at me.

"On the floor! Now!"

I laid onto the floor.

"Wait... I know this man..."

The officer stepped away from me as jerry rolled his wheelchair closer to me.

"Aren?! It is you!"
I pushed myself off of the floor and looked at him.

He is wearing a much more decorated uniform than the others...

Jerry smiled as he saw me.

"I'm glad to see your alive! What happened here?"

I looked at Ragniel and Merren.

"They... they killed each other."

Jerry looked at me sadly.

"I see... well, come with me and you can explain everything."
I followed Jerry past other policemen and out near the stairway.

I explained to him everything that happened... and who I am.

Jerry listened to me the entire time.

As I finished he pat me on the back.

"I see... I will send a unit to go get your family."
I looked at Jerry.

"Please... they never did anything-they had no part in any of this... don't... don't arrest Shira."
Jerry shook his head.

"I won't. Don't worry about that... but... you understand that I-the new police chief-has to arrest you?"
I nodded my head.

"I understand. I need to pay for my sins... but please, before you do... let me see my family one last time."
Jerry nodded his head.

"I will grant you that much, Aren."

I looked at him with a half-smile.

"How did you become chief...?"
Jerry frowned.

"Not through any means of my own, I'm afraid... after I was found in the building... well I, l became a sort of hero for the company. A 'symbol' against terrorism. I was promoted, due to Merrans interference. I knew I was simply being used... but that hardly changes the position I am in now."
"I see..."

I looked down the stairway.

"So what now?"

Jerry looked back into the office.

"I don't know. But... the war between the company and the terrorist group is over. I'm sure the company will get a new owner... and as for the men who helped Ragniel, I can't let them slip aside from their actions. The personal army hired by the company as security I am sure will go on to work for them."

"Nobody wins then?"

"It seems that way Aren..."
"I wish that my brothers had... I wish that they..."

Jerry held onto my shoulder.

"Aren, there is nothing we can do now."
"I see..."

I held out my hands in front of him.

"Go ahead and arrest me..."
jerry nodded his head and pulled out some handcuffs.

The room suddenly shook a little.

Jerry looked to the office.

I followed his gaze.

Suddenly an explosion came out of nowhere and destroyed the back office wall, revealing the outside of the building. I held onto the railing of the stairway to prevent myself from falling off of the stairway.

Jerry looked at me.

"Stay here."

He quickly made his way into the office.

What's going on now?!

I felt a small metal tube press on my back.

"Hello again, Aren. Remember me?"

It's... Florence, Ragniels second in command.

He pushed me forward.

"Walk."
I walked forward towards an elevator near the entrance to the office. I guess this is how Jerry got up here. Florance stayed right behind me, a pistol to my back.

He clicked a button on the elevator as the door opened and we walked inside.
