"Want the last slice of Pizza?" Hunter asked me.

I look up from my Notebook, moving my guitar aside. "No, I'm good." I answer him.

"Too bad!" He narrowed his eyes, throwing the last slice of pizza at me, which landed on my Notebook..

I look down for a moment, then back up at him. "Thanks, I guess."

He looked over at me shifting his weight on his bed. "What are you working on?" He asked me, curiously.

"Some lyrics." I answer.

"For an Anime openings?" He asked.

"No."

"Gaming related?"

"No, it's an original. Something of mine." I answer him, picking up the slice of Pizza from my notebook pulling a Pepperoni off of it, before whistling to the dog, who's head shot up as soon as I whistled.

He took the Pepperoni from my hand, then went to go lay down again.

"What's it about?" Hunter then asked me.

"What's what about?" I ask.

"The song? That you're working on?"

"Oh, I don't really know yet. I'm just writing things down, hoping they'd fit into a song later."

"Oh." He answered, falling silent. "How's you're head?" He asked me.

"Fine."

"Still feeling light headed?"

"Nope."

"Good."

With that little conversation gone and out of the way, I pick up my acoustic again, before playing a few stray notes, before fitting them into a riff of a song.

Taking my pen out of my mouth, I write them down, before playing some more.

Hunter then looked, eying up my Mira. "Got an Amp for that thing?" He asked.

"Yeah, I shoved it in the hallways closet when I first started staying here." I answer him, still playing some notes.

"Why?"

"You'll see." He answered me, before standing up, walking to the closest, grabbing the amp. He then picked up the Mira from where I left it, sitting down on his bed, plugging a Patch Chord into it, playing a few notes.

"Probably not Tuned." I say to him, not looking up.

"Sounds fine." He said to me, grabbing the pick off my end table. "Play those notes again." He then told me.

Obeying him, I play those same chords I started with.

After a minute or two, he joined in playing completely different notes, but in a higher scale.

We continued playing those same chords, all until the last string on my Mira snapped, which caused both Hunter and I to jump. He looked down then to me.

I set my Acoustic down, standing up.

"Sorry." He sighed.

"Don't be," I say to him. "Needed new strings anyways."

As I take the guitar setting it aside, he looked away then back to me.

"That was pretty good." He said to me.

"Yeah, I liked it."

We were silent again when suddenly Survivor started barking. Turning back to him, I  see exactly why he's barking.

My phone was buzzing.

Twitter.

Picking it up, I see another small little detail less tweet from Morgan.

Three months. Closing in on four. Wow. Four months. It doesn't even feel like four months.

Then another one came in.

@MorganWant whatever happens, I will be happy. No matter how trying these times are.

Hunter looked at me, as he took my phone.

"Do you know what she means?" He asked me.

"No," I answer, "I don't. She's been doing this since month 1."

"Weird..." He said. "Maybe she's trying to tell you something, Nate." He told me after.

"Like what?"

"I dunno, but whatever it is, maybe you just need to figure it out." He told me.

"How?"

"I don't know Nate for a moment. Is there something she wasn't telling you before you left?" Hunter asked me.

"No."

"You sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure. She'd tell me if something was up. I know she would."

"Would she tell you if something was up, now. Since you left?"

I think for a moment as he asked me that... I dunno, would she?
