"Son, why would you do that?" My dad frowns, anger flooding into his usual calm eyes. I sigh in frustration, he'll understand once I explain.

"Because he's a guy dad! A boy, a human and a male! I didn't want him then! But now I'm feeling stuff!" I yell out in frustration. Why does my life have to be so complicated?!

Dad suddenly stands up.

"YOU DON'T REJECT YOUR MATE ASHTON! MALE OR NOT! I DON'T CARE IF HE'S A GUY! YOU KNOW THAT! I DON'T CARE IF HE'S HUMAN EITHER! YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE HE'S YOUR GOD DAMN MATE!" Dad yells at me.

I sink slightly back at his alpha authority. I am such a douche.

"You know son, I can't let you take the alpha position until I know you're ready. You will not be alpha until I see you're mature enough. Rejecting your mate is the most immature thing you could do, just remember son. I do love you, I'm just dissapointed and angry," Dad says.

I frown as I try to hang onto every word he says.

I won't be alpha?

'Karma's a bitch,' My wolf snickers. I just roll my eyes.

'This is about you too Lewaf, you won't be alpha,' I say back.

'If you haven't noticed, I don't care. I just want Gabriel,' Lewaf replies.

There it was!

An idea.

I am going to get together with Gabriel, I really don't care that I have to be a fag right now. I just want to be an alpha, and dad would see I was mature enough to be alpha.

First thing I have to do was to get Gabriel to love me.

So how am I going to do that?

"You want me to what?" One of my nice pack mates Connor asks. His brown eyes wide and confused confused as his brows furrowed. I just huff.

"I want you to hit on Gabriel to see if he's gay," I explain.

Connor sends me yet another confused look. "Look, Ashton. I have a mate and why?"

I just huff, just say yes Connor! It's not that hard.

"Look, I just want to know. He seems like a cool dude and I just want to know if he's gay or not," I lie through my teeth.

'You're such a mean piece of shit,' My wolf huffs. I just shut him off, he's so annoying. God, I want a wolf that can actually agree with me and my smart methods.

"Fine, I'll do it. I won't hit on him, but I'll find out if he's gay," Connor says, rolling his brown eyes as does. Well thank you!

"Thanks Connor," I reply. Connor shrugs and sends me a small half smile. "Anytime, I just have to see if it's alright with Oliver. If it isn't I won't do it." (A/N I watch too much how to get away with murder. Oliver and Connor are one of my favorite couples 😍)

I just nod. Oliver is Connors mate. I guess I do like Connor as a friend, even though he is a fag. He's a nice guy, yet I make sure to look away so I won't see Oliver and Connor kiss, makeout or just do anything that's homosexual and disgusting.

"I'll see you around Ashton," Connor says with a small nod and walks away. I send him a small nod in return and watch the brunet walk away through the doors.
