I heard a door slam, which only meant Jeff was in his room.
"Did you think I'd leave so prematurely?" a voice said, which only could be Jane's. I turned to her, ready to bombard her with questions. "How did you get that window open!"
Jane cocked her head to the side. "It was rather easy, I can teach you sometime." My eyes lit up. "Really! That means-" Jane cut me off. "That you can escape."
"Oh thank you!" I cried, Jane grinned. "It's really no problem" I turned slightly and glanced over my shoulder to Jeff's room.
"You sure Jeff won't hear us?" I whispered instinctivly. Jane waved her hand dismissivly. "That pig? Ha! he'll sleep through the damn rapture."
