After lunch was over, I took the time to visit Sansa. She seemed very flustered when she invited me in her chambers. "See I must look my best. For multiple reasons! I am representing Winterfell as the eldest daughter of the Starks! I must look my best. No one realizes how important this is. First impressions only come once you see. You should understand. You must have the image as Bran's betrothed. But you do it effortlessly. She'll be jealous of you no doubt but I..oh gods no." She fumbles around her wardrobe, searching for a dress. "Why is that? You have beautiful hair! Your posture shows off your confidence. You look fine! Why worry so much? I always see young lads taking a glance at you!" "Really?" She asks, suddenly less interested in dresses. "Yes! Absolutely! No one can compare to you Sansa. Im not quite sure why you stress over such a thing that doesn't need to be stressed over." She looks down, embarrassed. "Well even so, I haven't chooses a dress yet. Could you help me?" She turns back around and I notice how she took my advice with her hair. I flank her right side and gaze at the wardrobe full of dresses. One catches my eye. It is gold in color, and stretches over the shoulders, showing off a lot of neck. The sleeves are skin tight and the stitching is laced at the wrists. "This one." I gently pull out the gown and show her. "Lovely! Thank you y/n. I appreciate this. I shall see you at the arrival." "Until then!" I leave. I have an urge to see Bran. I just really want to be with him. He compels me to be near him and he invades my thoughts every second of the day. I cannot get the picture of his attractive face out of my head. I wonder if I could request a portrait of him. Perhaps that would be awkward. One of us both? That would be lovely.
Once I've checked his bedchambers and around the castle generally, I cease to find him. I end up seeing Lady Stark and approach her with a curtesy. "Lady Stark? Have you seen Bran anywhere?" She smiles knowingly. "He's in the Godswood." "Thank you!" When I exit the castle, I see the snow falling from the sky gently, but sure enough becoming thicker. Winter truly can come any day now. It's not an easy thought to handle. I still feel worry and im not sure why. Id much rather curl up in the den with Bran and wait for it to be over. The full time winters in Winterfell are lovely. But the harsh winter to come is horrid. I've heard of the deaths from famines and freezing quite often. Newborn babes die in their mother's arms within days from the cold. Nothing can stop it's rath. Only the gods know how long the Winter will last. I start to wonder if Robb's wedding will even make it before the winter, let alone mine. I arrive at the Godswood to find Bran alone. He's lain down in a way that his upper body is straight up. He's staring at the weirwood tree faithfully, and is praying. I smile and see the glint in his eyes of hope and devotion. I believe in the old gods as well. No one down south believes. They believe in the new gods. Some don't believe in either. I don't quite understand it all. I grew up believing in my gods, the old gods. Bran seemingly finishes praying and raises a hand to the weirwood tree. He presses his hand against it and his eyes flash back. I watch in fascination. His eyes look nervous, or even saddened, I'm not sure which. When his eyes roll back, he jolts, as if he's been hit. He blinks a few times, before looking back up at the weirwood trustingly, and begins to pray again. I didn't want to interrupt him. He would've had Osha or Hodor with him if he meant not to be alone. I debated on what to do before I saw him lower his hands and lay his torso on the ground. He dragged himself to the weirwood and pushed his body up until he was awkwardly leaning on it. I walked over and he looks over at me. I wordlessly help him to lay against the tree correctly and he blushes and with a smile he thanks me. "How are you?" "Im alright. Yourself?" "Im great! What're you doing here?" "I just wanted to be alone. To pray. Sometimes I like to forget im a cripple who needs help all the time, and someone to always be near me to help." "I understand. If you need I can leave.." "No no! That's just it. Im alone. We're alone.." He blushes. "I apologize.. That was wrong of me." "No..it's alright please continue..." He looks up at me almost adoringly. His eyes flash with interest. "Sit." He commands. I do as told. "Closer." I sit closer. "Closer.." He mumbles. I blush a bit, and do so. He blushes. He is slightly lower than I am so he has to lean up a bit in order to kiss me. Im not sure what came over me, but I naturally and rather quickly laced my fingers through his hair. He mumbles inaudibly and kisses at my lips and I do so as well until we're making out. I end up straddling him and he gasps. I play with his perfect brown hair making him moan every now and then. And with a moan, he would blush rather darkly in embarrassment. "A..HEM!" Our heads snap in the direction of the sound. "The little lord convinced you to make out with him Eh?" Osha walks into view. "Un.." She chuckles and shakes her head. I realize how we must look, realizing his hands are on my waist, mine were in his hair and I was on top of him. I quickly get off of him and stare at Osha angrily. So much for being alone. She smirks back at me and sits across from us. "You told me you wished to pray little lord. You're a little liar. I see what you really intended to do Hmm?" He blushes brightly and yelled at her. "I did not!! She happened to walk my way as Id finished praying." "He was praying Osha." "Uh huh. sure. You two expect me and the others to believe you're not together? You sneak away all the time obviously to do this." She snickers. "Not true!" I bellow. "Should I come back in a while once again little lord? Give you both some time..alone." She smirks. He glares at her, nose flared. He looks angry. "Osha. Enough. Please." "Alright alright. Shall we go back?" "I suppose." He mumbles. "Alright hold on. Y/n come here a moment." She winks to Bran and he blushes and nods. I cautiously approach her. "Come over here." She whispers. We walk a few paces away. "The little lord is too shy to say somethin like this but Maester Luwin insisted he tells you. So I have taken it upon myself to do it for 'im." "Alright..go on.." "You may not want to hear this. Or maybe you do." She smirks. "Does it matter? Be quick about it! We left Bran." I look back longingly in the direction he's in. "Alright yes. Well straight out basically, the lad is fertile. He's able to..well his bone is able if you understand what I mean." I blush darkly. "I am not talking about this." I turn to walk away and she grabs me. "I was told to have you know is all child. It was a concern whether or not the little lord could have children. But he knows he can considering his.." "OKAY'! I got it.." "It does concern you child. You will be bearing his children you know that. Soon too within a year I'd imagine." She chuckles. I blush realizing how soon it truly would be. "So he can have children though?" "Yes definitely. He cannot exactly..well.. You understand. But you can." I shake my head. "I understand Osha." "Then let's get back to the lad." We walk back and he's playing with this furs and blushing. He looks up when he hears us and blushes brighter. I wonder if I should act innocently or if I should let go and blush as well. I didn't want anything to seem awkward at all though, so I decide to ignore it and I flash him a smile. "Come on let's go greet Robb's lady." He smiles and I notice the look of relief on his face. Osha picks him up and he grunts. "Ung. Hey Y/n?" "Mmhm?" "I am going to give you something later.." I look at him. He refuses to tell me. "Come on! You know I hate when you tell me things but not fully." "Why get so frustrated?" "I hate knowing about surprises!!!" I slap him playfully. Once we are back at the castle, Bran's leather and furs and taken off and replaced with only his cloak. Osha places him in the lords chair and I am told to sit on his right. I do so. I admit, I like being up here next to him. Maester Luwin sits on his left and Osha next to Maester Luwin. Hodor stands behind Bran and looks around, interested in all of the commotion. Summer trots in and lays faithfully at Bran's feet. Robb peers in before passing the doorway and nods smiling at a Bran who half smiles back. The responsibility sets in on Bran and his posture is set to an authoritive position. You can tell he's been in this position many times before and he seems to like it, despite how tense he can get. He doesn't enjoy being lord for way too long, but he loves his people. Ser Rodrick comes in and stands before Bran. "Shall we all wait outside with Robb my lord or in here by your side?" "Stay with Robb. You will lead her inside. The rest can stay behind but don't let everyone crowd in this room. The civilians can be there to greet her, but don't allow them to crowd inside the castle." "Will do my lord." Ser Rodrick nods and smiles at Bran. Shortly after, we hear some shouting and the gates open. A few horses come through. The girl and her escorts. I suppose Robb had greeted her and Ser Rodrick did as told and led them in. Robb's arm was hooked with the girl's. "This is your lord of Winterfell, and Warden of the North, Brandon Stark, 4th of his name." She curtsied to Bran. "My lord. It's an honor." She looked around pleased and wondrously. She seemed like a nice young woman who was very interested in the castle. "This is Talisa, my betrothed." She giggled and he smiled at her looking lovingly into her eyes. Bran smiled. He seemed genuinely happy for his brother. Jon Snow seemed to be quite envious of Robb at times. Bran never seemed to be too envious unless it was about the fact someone could walk gracefully. I find it rude for anyone to climb in front of Bran. The pain it causes his to watch hurts me too. "Welcome to Winterfell. Congratulations on your betrothal. The maids to your left will show you to your quarters." "Thank you my lord." He nods and smiles. "Is he the second youngest?" "Yes." "Is that his wife?" Robb laughs. "His beloved." "Oh. They're adorable together." She giggles. I blush hearing her. "They'd make a good lord and lady don't you think." He laughs lightly. "Yes my love I do." She departs with the maids and Robb watches after her lovingly. I wonder if Bran will ever look at me like that.
I even mention it later. Bran decided to deal with all of the issues the civilians had, so I had some alone time with Osha. "Do you think he'd ever look at me like that? So Lovingly..so adoringly..." Osha laughs at me and I feel quite ashamed at first before she responds. "Oh child. He already does." She said slowly. I blush. "He does?" "He's infatuated with you. You're all he talks about. I've helped him with his little gift to you. He said if you're to be marred he wants you to have something." "Is he okay with marrying me?" "Oh you should have seen his reaction when he found out. He was practically leaping into the air. The smile on his face child, I haven't seen him that happy in a long time. Are you that oblivious? Even today girl." "What? When?" "When I caught you two eating each other's faces." I blush darkly. "You should pay attention. The way he looked at you. You've got the little lord wrapped right around your finger. He's so in love with you it's ridiculous." I felt my heart flutter with happiness and i for one wanted to run around the castle screaming and giggling like a child. I look in the doorway and see Bran smiling and one of his people leaves smiling happily, his face full of relief. The next man to walk in was smiling already and kneeled to greet Bran. His people adored him. Dare I say they love Bran the most. Rather quickly, the man leaves the room happy and satisfied. A woman and her husband walk in next and kneel as well. They look up lovingly to their beloved little lord and explain their situation. It is at this time that I walk in to sit next to Bran. After a few more people, it seems we are finished. Catelyn walks in followed by Rickon trying to pull her away. "Brandon!" Uh oh. "What?" "You tore into the sofa!!" She exclaims. His jaw drops and quickly closes again. He purses his lips shamefully and she sighs, walking over to him. "Why must you always cause such hell in this castle Hmm?" He frowns. "Im sorry." She sighs again and smiles. She shakes her head and ruffles his hair before leaving. "I tried to stop her!" Rickon says frantically. "I know. It's alright." Rickon smiles and runs back out. I wonder if it's as obvious for me as Osha says it is for Bran. Do I look at him with all the adoration I feel for him? I sort of hope so.
