"You lied." I heard her. It was loud and clear to me. As I tried to grasp on what's going on, she slipped herself on the bed and slept on it. I hated this happening. It was like we're in a war zone. No one wanted to back down. Throwing stuff and slamming the doors at each other didn't make it any better. That moment our brains were dysfunctional that we didn't care if who was gonna lose anymore. That's when I knew I was gonna lose (Y/N) soon.

But as much I hate her ranting, she makes me love her more. With no good reason, it was as if I was under a curse. To only love her more. It was matter of time I gave up and let her win. She was stuck on me like a tattoo with no possibility of removing it. I feel dumb sometimes for being an idiot, crawling back to her side. It was frustrating.

So I cross my heart and I hope to die. I'll stay to be with her one more night. I know a million times is a lot but I'll stay with her one more night. I promise myself that every night. I walked in to see her fast asleep. I couldn't help but touch her sleeping face.

I tried. I tried to reject her but sadly i can't. I tried to make myself to stop loving her, caring for her but her lips makes me go out of breath. After waking up again in the next morning, I'll probably be hating myself for putting my guard down. Maybe satisfied to be with her but guilty for making myself weak. The more I reject the fact I'm in love, the more I need her. The more I tried stop myself, the more I'll try to get her. The more I hate the fact I'm weak for her, the more I loved her.
She was mentally stuck in my head. That's why I couldn't forget her. She was sent to be with me, not some random dude. I was dumb to scold her that day. I didn't bother to call her during the competition or after it either. It took me one year to call her back and it didn't end well.
I sat by the bed looking at her sleeping figure. She has been through a lot. More than I thought. I looked at my phone and looked at the text William sent.

I sighed and shut my phone. I looked back again to hear sniffles. She was crying again. I wanted to tell her how sorry I am but I wanted to win rather than compromising. Not only was I hurting Nia, I was also hurting (Y/N). This time I'm keeping my promise, to stay with her one more night. I don't care if she wanted me to be with her or not, I'm gonna stay with her one more night.

You sniffled a little from crying yourself to sleep. But soon you felt a warmth feeling on your back. You saw hands holding your own and for some reason you smiled. That moment you didn't care about the fight anymore. You're glad he stayed for one more night.
