"MY SISTER. SOMEONE HELP!" Kariann yells loudly, running around until she finds several psychiatrists stood in a clump along with several assistants. They all look up in shock as it's generally quite a quiet ward.

"Miss Kloss I presume," Fiona says, emerging from the cluster and walking hurriedly towards the younger girl who's starting to panic. Kariann isn't the most sociable person you'll meet and this is a nightmare for her but she knows that right now her older sister is the one who needs support.

Stuttering slightly, Kariann nods, "yes. All I heard was a huge crash a-and there was all this glass and it-it was everywhere and I thought it was on me and I didn't know what to do and you need to help her."

"Okay Kari it's going to be fine." The woman looks up, gesturing to another member of staff. "Look after her," the adding quietly, "she has BPD so keep an eye on her." Then Fiona rushes off, leaving Kari shaking on a bench, scared for herself and her sister.

When Fiona arrives at the room everything is eerily quiet, finding her patient sitting silently on the standard issue bed and shaking with her back to the door. At first glance, all is normal but after a quick scope around the woman spies the broken window and the glass. "Karlie," she whispers, not entirely sure what state the girl is in.

"I'm fine," Karlie replies steadily, no trace of whatever has just happened in her tone. "The window broke."

"Kari said she heard you screaming," Fiona says. She goes around the bed so she can see Karlie's face and also her hands. They're red, smeared blood and deep gashed cuts still freely bleeding. "Oh."

"I forgot about that part," the model says matter-of-factly. She referring to the scream that the psychiatrist has just mentioned, refusing to acknowledge her wounded hands, and not seeming to want to do anything about it.

Fiona closes her eyes momentarily to hater herself. "Karlie. Why did you smash the window?" The brunette goes to tell the woman it smashed of its own accord- "no. Don't lie."

"Fine." The girl sighs- "I don't want my dad to be able to see me again but he'll probably just pay people off to make him seem innocent- I got a bit angry." With that out, Karlie seems back to normal: she's no longer shaking and her tone of voice is exactly as it usually is. The psychiatrist has never seen the girl in that state before but it still doesn't raise any answers, apart from possible anger issues. "Could you bandage my hand?"

"O-of course." She's stunned by the normality of her patient already. "I'll just get the stuff."

Minutes later, Fiona reappears with a slightly worse for wear Kariann who immediately rushes to hug her older sister. It seems to have knocked her more than it's affected the actual patient and Fiona makes a mental note to keep an eye on the younger Kloss sister. "Let's see your hand," she asks.

On closer inspection, a few medium sized shards of glass have lodged themselves in Karlie's hand which need removing. Then the woman cleans the wounds, getting Karlie to squeeze a heart shaped stress ball as the sting travels around her body. A few stitches and then she's done, wrapping a soft cotton bandage around her patients hand and then smiling. "You're all done."

"Thanks." Karlie inspects her hand. Fiona bundles all the equipment into the trolley and is wheeling it out softly, looking forward to discussing the incident with colleagues to see if they can find an answer, maybe getting a coffee too. "Err, Fiona. Maybe I could talk to you?"

Taken off guard, Fiona manages to reply with a yes and sets the trolley outside incase it's needed before coming back in and perching on the bed.

Karlie proceeds to tell her everything.
