Chapter 12 The doctor

We were interrupted by Edward and Carlisle, hey sorry it took so long I had to stop by the house and get some of my equipment Carlisle said.
It's ok I said smiling up at him,so what seems to be the problem?
Edward and Bella took that as a sign to leave.
I waited until they were gone to speak.
First this is my husband Jason I said patting Jason's back.
He does not talk,if you need him to talk to you he can write it down.
Ok nice to meet you Jason Carlisle said offering his hand to him to shake.
Jason just sat there staring at Carlisle's hand,honey take his hand and shake it like this.
I did it once to show him.
Understanding Jason shook his hand and nodded his head.
That's his way of saying hi I explained.
I'm Carlisle I am a doctor I am also Edward's father.
Jason nodded again in understanding.
So what happened Amy?
Well this guy broke in our house while Jason was out and....
It's ok take your time,he the guy woke me up I was taking a nap.
At first I thought it was Jason,so I said Hi honey.
When I opened my eyes I found out it wasn't Jason.
The guy grabbed me and throw me against the wall,then he yanked me up by the hair.
Next thing I knew was he ripped my nightgown off.
And then he... I broke off sobbing again.
Jason put his arm around me,ok let me take a look Carlisle said.
But first put this on and knock on the door when you're ready.
Carlisle walked out of the room to give me privacy.
Jason helped me get changed into the hospital gown,he looked upset when he saw the bruises.
He gently kissed them before tying the back of the gown.
I knocked on the door when I was finished.
Carlisle came back in and sat in a chair close to the bed.
Now Jason what I am going to do might hurt her a little bit,but I have to do what I have to do to make sure everything is ok.
Jason nodded then sat by me on the bed and took hold of my hand.
Carlisle had me lay down while he felt my ribcage.
I flinched,does that hurt he asked I said yeah it's sore.
Ok sorry,it's fine... He then tested my reflexes and told me to touch my toes. My back protested in pain.
Now I have to look at your vagina,ok I said scooting almost off the bed.
I spread my legs the best I could due to the burning pain I felt.
He took something and put it in me as gently as he could then took it out and finished examining it.
Ok now turn over on to your stomach so I can look at your back.
I did as instructed,he ran his hands up and down my spine.
Then he had me sit up, ok from what I have seen is your ribs are cracked and you have a tear in your vagina.
And a slight concision to your skull.
So I will go get you something for the pain,as far as your ribs go I will have to put a cast on your midsection.
And no sex for a month to let you heal up.
Carlisle? Yes my dear? Is the baby ok?
Baby? Yeah I'm pregnant,oh my ok um I'll be right back.
Ok he was gone faster then I could blink.

Jason's P.O.V.

I think he was a vampire too, I felt horrible seeing those bruises on her body.
I almost came unglued when I seen the doctor mess with her..... But she seemed ok.
She rested her head on my chest,I'm sorry she whispered.
I shook my head no,I'm the one who's sorry.
Jason I'm scared she cried again, I wont let anything like this to happen to you ever again I promise .
I'm scared for our son what if he is .....
I then realized what she meant, I put my hand on her belly.
I waited for it seemed like forever when I was about to pull my hand away I felt a small kick.
I smiled behind my mask,he is ok.
What should we name him?
I don't know? How about Junior? Yes I like that I said to her.
Our little moment was broken when the doctor came back in.
He had her lay back down,he applied some clear cream stuff to her belly.
He started to move a weird thing around on her tommy.


Ok I see it,there there he is the doctor said pointing to a screen I didn't notice earlier.
He must be at least a month or two along.
I cocked my head,that means he is two months in developing inside me hon Amy explained.
Let me know when you start to have contractions I will come and do a c-section on you.
Ok I'll let you know right away.
he seems to be fine your ribs protected him.
That's good,ok so I'm going to give you some meds for your pain ,however I don't think a cast is a good idea at the time being since your pregnant.
But I have a brace you can use to help the healing of your ribs.

No problem my dear he said before leaving,it was nice meeting you Jason take good care of her,make sure she does not left anything at all.
At least for six weeks ok buddy.
