Chapter 34 Jason finds his voice

I didn't feel like talking to him no more so I stormed off.
What part of leave me alone did that kid not understand?
I went to the lake and skipped a few rocks.
However Jacob caught up to me,just great!
Hey man,look don't worry what people think ok.
Amy loves and married you so forget what other people have to say.
I just stared at him thinking boy this kid is dumb.
Who did she text the pic to anyways?
Her mom I replied,oh now I see why you are worried.
What the hell did that mean?!
I glared at him,he man you need to take a chill pill Jacob laughed at me.
I picked him up and throw him in the lake then walked off ignoring him.
He was laughing when he surfaced,I just shook my head and kept walking.
I ended up getting bored and hungry so I went back home.

Amy's P.O.V.

I sat there stunned that he just left like that.
Junior fell asleep so I put him back in his crib.
I mean damn it was just a picture for crap sakes.
I walked into the kitchen to get a snack.
I was sitting in the living room watching a movie when I heard Jason walk in the door.
I acted like I didn't hear him come in I just sat there watching my movie.
I felt the couch shift under his weight when he sat down beside me.
He put his arm around me and held me against his chest.
I looked on at the movie,I felt him lift up my chin.
He kissed me while looking into my eyes.
I weakly smiled up at him then turned back to the movie.
I heard him groan in announce at my lack of interest.
He got up then turned off the TV, hey I was watching that! I yelled at him.
He ignored me then sat back on the couch.
I turned away from him,he then did something unexpected he talked!
I could barely hear him,I think he said I am sorry and that he loved me.
I looked back at him in total shock.
J J J Jason you can talk?!
He nodded his head then wrote in the notebook.
Yeah I can talk but I never had a reason to until now.
I haven't talked in years so I wasn't sure I could anymore.
But when you kept ignoring me I had to try something.
I love you I was worried you would leave me.
So I thought I would give it a try,sorry for upsetting you earlier I just don't want your mom or anyone changing your mind about being with me.

I sat back and started to cry,he looked at me with worry.
No hon I am crying because I didn't know I meant that much to you.

It is the sweetest thing ever,you must really love me and our son.
He took me up in those strong arms of his.
"I do love you and Junior,you gave me a reason to try.
I blinked back the tears,hon please if it hurts your throat to talk you don't have to.
It sorta hurts a little because I'm not used to using my voice."
Ok well take your time then hon,I leaned up and kissed his mask where his lips would be.
We sat there holding each other for a while
I was too stunned to really say much.
Sorry my voice is raspy he said,I laughed at that.
Hey if you didn't notice but mine is too.
But that is because my voice is damaged from being born to early or so they say that's the cause of it.

"Your voice is the sweetest thing I ever heard" he smiled done at me,or at least I am pretty sure he was smiling behind that mask of his.
