''Ssssh..babygirl. It's okay, you're okay!''
I sob uncontrollably in his arms. That dream scares me. It is a constant reminder of what I lost that fateful night. These nightmares won't let me forget. My sobs quieten until I'm just silently crying on my dads shoulder.
''Are you alright now, babygirl?'' says Jax.
He is the one who comes into me when I have my bad dreams. He always knows what to say and he holds me while I cry my heart out.
''Y-Yes Jax. Thank you. I-I feel better now.''
I say as I try to control my voice from shaking. I look at the clock. 4am it reads in green neon letters. I don't realise how tired I am until my eyes start to droop shut. These nightmares take a lot out of me.
''Come on, go back to sleep.Will I stay here until you fall asleep?'' Jax asks. He's always so caring about me. I am his 'babygirl'.
''Please.'' I yawn. Jax chuckles.
''Alright goodnight.'' he says as he kisses me on the top of my head. He walks over to the armchair in the corner and trys to get comfortable. I feel sorry for him, he will have pains in his back and neck in the morning. He says he doesn't mind though. My eyelids flutter shut and sleep engulfs me almost instantly.
