Chapter Thirty-Five

I screamed in pain as a contraction hit. Between my spazzing out and maybe the witches rushing up the process, this baby was ready to come. Genevieve, two of the girls from the harvest I didn't know, and some other girl were trying to hold me down to this bed. "Let go of me you bitch!" I yelled at Genevieve who was telling me to calm down.

"Ahh!" I screamed in pain again. My baby was causing so much pain. I couldn't move and I was freaking out. Sweat covered my body, tears welled up in my eyes, but my anger was through the roof. I tried to toss and turn on the table in the middle of the church to get out their grips and luckily I did on my right shoulder, the unfamiliar girl.

I grabbed this weird pen looking thing and stabbed the pointy thing into her neck, shoving her as hard as I could. The girl went tumbling down, tripping over steps and another girl had me pinned again so I couldn't move. "Monique, check on her," Genevieve said to the mean girl from the harvest party, the one who stole Davina's gifts.

Monique moved away and I heard a gasp between my next string of curses and yells. "She's not breathing," Monique said. Good.

"We can't save her," Genevieve said and suddenly the doors busted open to the church. A bloody Klaus was storming inside angrily. Some random guy I didn't see before walked towards him and with just swinging his arms the head popped off.

Next thing I knew he was being lifted into the sky and pinned to the wall high up. I I leaned my head back I could see him though. I stared at him, groaning in pain. I screamed loudly again, panting for air. "You should know this brings me no joy," Genevieve said.

"She's dead," someone stated. Another guy. I guess he meant the girl who fell and hit her head. I don't think she was a witch. Must've been a human. A weak one to die like that. Suddenly a different pain hit me through my whole body and my gums begun to sting.

I looked at Klaus in worry. What the hell? "You triggered the curse," Klaus said. I began to panic but then another contraction came. I yelled louder than before. It hurt so bad. This is not how I imagined having my baby. Waking up to be in labor, Klaus not by my side, not in a hospital, and no doctor.

I'd want Klaus holding my hand, Elijah sat in the waiting room, my family and friends on the way, and sure as hell Genevieve not even in the vicinity. "Let's begin, shall we?" Genevieve asked.

"No! No!" I yelled. A sheet went over my waist and soon my jeans and panties were tossed on the floor. Genevieve standing on the other end of the table, Monique by her side. And two other girls, one from the harvest holding me down by my shoulders. Monique holding a knife in her hands. Oh, my God. Not my baby!

I had started pushing now. It was inevitable and the pain was excruciating. I was ready to pass out. "I will bring hell to your doorstep!" Klaus was yelling. "I will bathe in rivers of your blood!"

"One more last push," Genevieve said.

"No, No!" I kept crying. It hurt so bad.

"I can see the baby," Monique said. Something in me sparked. I wanted to see my baby, so bad. My daughter.

"Ok. Now, push!" Genevieve instructed. I sat up a bit, the two girls no longer able to restrain me properly. Starting with a groan that turned into a shriek, I pushed. "Gently, gently."
