Like A Kid

He pulled away slowly and I ran my fingers over his face, loving the feel of his skin beneath them.

"You're really here." I confirmed happily.

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else." he said. He turned up to the teacher's table at the far end of the hall and, in response; McGonagall gave him a brief nod. Grabbing my hand he began to run with me being pulled a long behind him.

We left the Great Hall and darted to our common room. After a quick greeting from Professor Dumbledore, the portrait swung closed and we were alone again.

Leading me over to the sofa, he sat down on it and pulled be half into his lap. I held his hand softly as I dropped a kiss on his lips. I had missed him so much. It hadn't felt the same without him being here.

"I'm sorry Mione; I couldn't help but do it. Every moment I spent with you made me realise how much that I wanted you. I was greedy and chose you over protecting everyone else." He mumbled against my lips as his arm snaked around my wrist pulling me on top of him as he lay down.

"It's my fault to." I pointed out. "You tried to stop but I kissed you."

"I'm glad you did." He tangled his fingers in my hair as he tugged my lips back down to his. I gripped his shoulders as he nibbled and sucked my bottom lip for entrance. I teased him for a few seconds before I lost control of his Tongue rubbing against my lips. I opened my mouth and his Tongue met mine, rubbing lightly against it.

His hands ran down my sides causing sparks to dance across my body. They reached the bottom of my shirt and, after snagging the fabric, ran back up again. A second later, it was discarded on the floor next to the couch. He rolled over, pressing his body down on top of mine. I pulled his head further down towards me and his Tongue dived deeper in my mouth. He pulled away and began to tug off his shirt. I helped him and it soon joined mine on the floor forming a small pile.

I eagerly trailed my fingers across his chest. He was paler than I remembered and I pushed him away forcefully.

"You're sick." I rasped my words come out as loud gasps.

"I don't care." He replied, "I just want you."

"No," I retorted indignantly as he went for my lips again. I knew that as soon as he kissed me, I would be under his spell again. "We're not doing this tonight." I insisted.

"Anything for you." I reached my hand out to the floor and grabbed my shirt. Pulling it back on, I pushed him off me softly. I was just getting to my feet when a loud crack of thunder echoed through the room. I jumped in shock and glanced out of a window at the flash of lightening lit up the sky.

I hate lightening.

"Scared?" Draco teased, coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"No." I lied. I jumped again as another crack resounding and Drake began to chuckle against my neck.

"I know how to cure you." He whispered pressing a kiss on my neck. He began to trail them up and I turned my head suddenly, capturing his lips with mine.

He pulled away a second later and then he began to run.

"Drake!" I yelled after him as he crashed out of the portrait. I cursed him under my breath as I took to my feet, chasing him out of the common room and down a corridor.

Following him, he raced up the stairs towards the Ravenclaw tower and then down a secret passage inlaid behind a tapestry. We went down two more flights of stairs and skidded past the Great Hall and then I stopped.

He grinned back at me evilly as he backed out of the main doors. I watched the rain hit against his bare chest as he continued walking backwards out of the castle. I followed him slowly and stopped at the doors staring after him. He was stood in the middle of the yard before me, his wet was hanging limply across his face, a million raindrops ran down his pale chest and his trousers were soaked with rain water making them cling to his skin. I could see everything. His blue eyes danced as he watched me.

A loud bang echoed again and the sky was lit up again by the lightening.

"Drake please come back." I begged. He shook his head and beckoned at me with his finger. "Draco!" I yelled.

Instead of coming back, he walked further away. I couldn't stand seeing him stood there. He was shivering now but he seemed determined to get me to go to him. Another crack of thunder sounded around us and I squeezed my eyes shut as the brightest flash of lightening occurred in front of me.

Opening my eyes again, I began to scream. Draco toppled slowly over, his legs buckling in the rain as he collapsed to the floor.

"Draco." I shrieked. He didn't get back to his feet.

Taking a deep breath, I clenched my eyes shut as I jumped out into the rain, running towards his body. When the first raindrop hit my skin, I shuddered in anticipation and with the first crash of thunder I nearly fell over. Stumbling towards his body, I dropped to the floor next to him and ran my fingers over his body.

"Drake?" I whispered. I yelled as he suddenly sat up before me laughing.

"I told you I would cure you." Drake teased and I felt anger grow inside of me. I had thought he was seriously hurt and it had all been a trick. I shoved him angrily and clambered back to my feet. I heard a satisfying squelch as he fell back in the mud. It served him right.

"Mione!" Drake yelled from behind me. I kept marching away, Ignoring the thunder and lightning around me. Why would he do that? Stupid jerk.

His hand closed around my wrist and he yanked me back against his chest. His lips met mine and I felt my knees weakening as he kissed me so fearlessly. I kissed him back, realising how much I had missed him while he had been away.

"I've always wanted to kiss someone in the rain." Drake whispered as he brushed my hair behind my ear. "I was just waiting for the right girl."

I was the right girl.

He dropped another kiss onto my lips. I don't know how long we were stood there but I had missed these moments so much.
