MINUTES turns into hours and hours turns into days, soon enough my birthday appears around the corner. I am finally turning 17 this weekend.

I dress up in a beautiful short purple dress that's straps dances around my neck. The back is completely backless and has crystals scattered around the dress, the dress falling mid-thigh and showing off my legs. My hair tied up in a bun with strands of loose hair, curled up cascading into my shoulder, showing off my pearl earrings.

"Hey, are you ready?" Coal asks, emerging from my en-suite. He straightens up his suit, buttoning up his sleeves as I slip on my heels. Dad is taking us out for dinner on my birthday then he said we are heading somewhere else afterwards.

"Yes, just need to finish up my makeup." I complete my makeup, smacking on some dark reddish lipstick to match my heavy yet soft makeup. Finally, I finish up and stand, allowing Coal to help me steady myself due to the tall heels.

"Are you ready?"

"Damn. Don't be impatient." I scold and he kisses me, making a smile slip on my face. Afterwards, Coal pulls away and gazes down my body, a grin crawling on his face as those alluring blue eyes trail up my legs, sending goosebumps on my arms.

"Let's leave." He whispers, hotly, and I nod enthralled, under his spell. Coal smirks at me and I blush, looking away, but I can't help grin at my boyfriend.

Dinner last until 10 because Dad had someone to meet and said we should enjoy the rest of the night with our friends. So after dinner, we head over to the yacht and I laugh at Coal's facial expression.

No later than 11, all my friends arrive and we huddle around on the top deck to give out the present. As everyone gives me a present when the night darkens, Dad appears last but I still haven't gotten anything from Coal and I can't help but feel a bit disappointed.

"I know you wanted this for a long time but don't open it until it's right." Dad says as he passes me the box, I frown confused and Dad chuckles. "By the way, Coal chose the present so think of it from both of us." Dad winks at me before leaving.

My gazes wavers to Coal, who's leaning against the wall outside on the deck with his hair covering his eyes. I quietly walk up to him, leaving the party behind me, and close the French doors.

"Hi." I whisper and Coal looks up, a smile lights up his face and his green eyes glimmer.

"Hey, do you like your gifts?" He asks and takes hold of my hands, the box softly resting against one of my hand.

"Yes. Especially this one even though I don't know what's inside." I shake the box, eager to open it.

"Right, well when this party ends, we'll leave." Coal murmurs and I kiss him, pressing myself against him.

"Or we can leave now." I suggest, lowly, and Coal nods, eyes filled with desire and lust.

He takes my hand and leads me out onto a speedboat. I give him a wary look but he smirks then Coal blind folds me before starting the engine of the speedboat.

"Where are we going?" I ask, blinded by the darkness.

"To open you gift." He chuckles and ignores me for the rest of the ride. The breezy wind hits my face and the waves crash against the boat, silence resting peacefully between us as I wait for the journey to come to an end.

What feels like an forever, Coal finally stops the engine and helps me out. He takes my hands and helps me walk before stopping to a halt. Then his arms are behind me and his hands stroke my bare arms, his mouth close to my ear which sends goosebumps up my arms.
