Kendall happily walked inside her house.
For the first time in a long time, she had actually had an okay day.

Classes seemed quick and relevantly easy today. Her classes are all at passing grades, and she was just in a good mood.

"Welcome home!" Her sister, Lexi, greeted her, with a bird on her shoulder.

"How was your day?" She asked.
Kendall dropped her bag beside the door with a smile. "Actually? Today was pretty good."

Honestly, Kendall deserved a good day. She had been compiled with stress and slight depression in her days. She deserved a day to stay calm.
"That's good!" Lexi smiled brightly.

"How was yours?"

Lexi shrugged.
"I got to stay home today from the darn diddly working. I just sort of hung out."
Kendall nodded. "How fun." She responded.

Kendall began for the stairs, up to her room. "I think I'm gonna go chill." She called to her older sister, before making her way up the stairs.

She sighed as she tossed her pants off to replace them with shorts. The sweet relief of tossing off pants. She smiled and sat on her bed, before there was a knocking at her door.

She got up and opened the door herself, since she was too lazy to actually say 'come in'
Which makes less sense because it would have exerted less energy to just say "come in"?
Oh well.

Before her stood an adorable John, tiredly smiling down at her.
"John!" She suddenly found herself smiling. It had been only an hour ago, being the last time she saw him, but she didn't mind being greeted with him again. Kendall moved to the side to let him in.

He leaned down and pecked the side of her cheek, before making himself comfortable on her bed. He wasn't having a good day, unlike his girlfriend, but he still wanted to come and see her again. It gave him a warmer feeling in his chest.

"You look sleepy." Kendall said, shutting her door and sitting next to the lying John.
He nodded. "But I wanted to come see you still." He mumbled, his tired smile remained.
Kendall leaned over and ran a hand through his hair. "Maybe you should sleep." She suggested.
"I want to be with you though." He frowned slightly.
"So stay here."

John fought that 0%.
He didn't care, he was tired, and currently the position he lied in was so incredibly comfortable. "Come lie with me." He said, slightly lifting his arm up. Kendall wasn't sleepy. Or tired. But she couldn't pass up an opportunity to lie with Bae. She happily made her way on to the bed with John, where he wrapped his arms around her, holding tightly.

From there, it didn't take him long to fall asleep.

God damn did Lexi love Sprite.

She had just recently let John in, and he said something along the lines of "I really enjoy Sprite." And that's when Lexi remembered.
