Chapter 11: Are You Sure?

Meanwhile, the Axis was traveling back to Kiku's house to discuss their plan and strategy to kill the strongest of them. While traveling, they started a conversation. "I've made an origami of flower when i was a child, Feliciano-san." Kiku said, smiling. "Oh. Who did you make it for?" Maria asked. Kiku blushes and hands a picture of his origami flower being placed on Maria's head at their family picture as a child. Feliciano leaned to see the picture. "You two look so cute then!" he exclaimed. Maria said thank you to him. "Maria, can i ask you something?" Kiku starts. "Hai! You can ask me anything, onii-chan!" Maria replied. "Do you know why i protected you from Arthur's spell?" The Japanese asked. Looking back, Maria knows the answer, but she said nothing. "The answer is because--" Kiku started, but was cut off by Maria's reply. "A-Are you sure?" Kiku blushes. "Hai. I am sure." he replies. The siblings' moment was awkward. Feliciano smiled. "Heehee! It's so funny seeing you two shy of each other!" he remarked. The two samurais looked at Feliciano and said, "Why do you care?!" Both of them are actually tsunderes to someone very annoying. Just then, Maria noticed something.It was a necklace at Feliciano. "Feliciano-san, who gave that necklace to you?" she asked. "Ah, this one? Holy Rome gave it to me when i was a child." the Italian replied. "This represents our relationship together." "Ah, i see." All this time, Maria is actually wearing a Hatsune Miku headphones! Good thing Kiku and Feliciano did not notice it. Just then......."Onii-chan, can i also ask you a question?" "Hai. Fire off." "Why did you protect me there? I know you had some injuries, but the one of your left arm is the most painful." Kiku did not know how to answer her question. Instead, he blushed madly.
