Chapter 17: Nordic Buisness!

After Kiku carried Maria to her room, Francis was at rage. He gets Alfred's gun and went at the entrance of the house. Holy Roman Empire was watching all along at the battle. He ran into the entrance and blocked the way in order Francis will not enter the house. Elizabeta, Roderich and Gilbert noticed HRE blocking the way. "H-Holy Roman Empire?!" they screamed in unison. "Heh. Long time no see, everyone." HRE smiled. Francis tried to shoot him, but never passes through Holy Rome's body. He teleported to his back, grabs his shirt, throwing Francis to one of the trees. "Elizabeta-san. Call Lukas-san. We need his help!" Kiku exclaimed. Elizabeta immediately called the Norwegian. "Hello? Who is this?" the Norwegian asked. "It's me, Elizabeta. We need help immediately!" she said. Lukas seems a bit surprised. "Where are you now?" he asked. "I'm at Kiku's house right now. His sister suddenly collapsed!" she replied. "Ok. I'm on my way." After a hour, Lukas finally arrived. "I'm already here. What happened to her?" he asks. "While fighting with the Allies, I heard that Maria's left eye was red. I-I don't know why...." Kiku explained. Lukas kneeled closer to Maria's bed. He lifted Maria's shirt and was shocked of what he saw. Maria had a bandage at her stomach. Her bandage was filled with blood. "Mr. Bondevik? What's wrong?" Roderich asked. "L-Look at this..." he said, shaking. Kiku leaned over and, too, was shocked. "M-Maria never had this injury before...." he muttered. Lukas concentrated on his powers and saw Maria's past. He saw of how Maria got the strange injury. During the World War II, Maria was stabbed by Kuro Honda, her brother's counterpart. Not that kind of counterpart, but a dangerous one. Kuro stabbed Maria, and she collapsed. After Kuro left, Maria stood up. She puts her hand at her stomach. Alfred ran into her, helping her to his camp. There he puts a bandage at her. Maria opens her eyes, revealing her left eye was red. Antonio arrives and took his adoptive daughter to his camp and puts her eyepatch. Lukas removed his finger at his cross* and opens his eyes. "It seems that Maria was stabbed by a man named Kuro Honda. Maria has the Japanese blood, which means that she is immortal, like Kiku. When she was in a collapsed state, her left eye was changed to red." he explained. "W-What?!" Kiku shouted. "I-I didn't know that she has a curse at her eye...Why..Why didn't you tell me, Maria-chan?" he thought. Lukas puts his right hand at Maria's left eye and healed it. "There. That should do it. Her left eye will return to normal in any second." he said, smiling. He checked his medieval pocket watched the time. "Oh. I'm late for my little brother. I have to go." he said. "Who's your little brother again?" Elizabeta asked. Lukas lets out a sigh. "It's Emil." he replied, vanishing into thin air. A few seconds after Lukas left, Maria finally woken up. "N-Nīsan...?" Kiku left a single tear at his eye. "Are...Are you okay? Can you sit down?" he asked. Maria tried to sit down but was in pain. "My...scar....." she said. Kiku smiled. Maria was confused. He helps his sister to sit at the bed. "Shall i tell you something i've thinking about for a long time?" he asked. Maria nodded. "Without seeing hide nor hair, only words can be seen. When there's something I don't know about, that's driving me crazy." he said. Still, Maria was confused, but she remembers the meaning of "contrary words" being spilled out. Maria hugs her brother, knowing the meaning of what he said. "Ah. This flower brings back our childhood. Right, Imōto?" he said after the hug. Both of them smiled.             
•Flashback•                                                Kiku was very happy for days. He was making a origami flower for his sister, Maria for her birthday. "This will do it! I hope she will be surprised.." he said to himself. He walked through the hallway and saw Maria. "Perfect!" he said to himself once again. "Maria! Here's your present! Tanjōbi omedettō!" he exclaimed. "Ah! Arigato, Nīsan! I love it!" she thanked. Their father, Tadakatsu Honda, arrived with a smile. "So that's why Kiku was very late to sleep! Ha, you worked so hard on that, eh? Good job!" he remarked. Kiku bowed at his father. "Thank you, father. I'm happy that you understood what i have done." Just then, their mother, Luka Honda, arrived as well. "That origami flower is very beautifully designed, Kiku! I'm happy for the both if you!" she smiled. Kiku and Maria looked at each other, smiling.                     •End of Flashback•                                Kiku touched Maria's flower. "It's so long since I've seen this flower, actually. Look! It's not crumpled." he said to himself. Sakura petals fell at the flower and something interesting happened. Maria's flower turned into a real one! Maria begins to sense something very powerful at the flower. She tries to cast her Senbonzakura spell, and it worked. Thousands of petals was outside the house. "Ve~ It's so bella!~" Feliciano remarked. Roderich smiled as well with Elizabeta. Maria and Kiku was happy. They smiled once again. "She never changed, huh?" Like again, i am busy reviewing for my finals next week. I wanted to start Chapter 20, but i can't do it on a Thursday because there will be no electricity. Oh, that's right. Again, there's a * at a sentence. This time, it was Norway/Lukas' sentence. Actually, his cross is a mobil phone. If you look at the picture up there, he has a cross. What i'm saying is true.
