Chapter 59: Set-Up

Maria and the others went back to Azuchi Kingdom. The reason being is that they are going to help set up the upcoming matsuri.

"You know, nīsan, I missed the matsuris." Maria admitted to Kuro and Kiku. Kiku smiled.

"It's alright, imōto." Kuro grinned.

"Remember when you always waited for the fireworks since you love them?" Kuro asked. Maria laughed.

"Hai, I remember." Maria replied. Holy Rome chuckled.

"It seems you enjoyed your childhood, huh?" Holy Rome said. Maria smiled.

"Yes. We did indeed." Maria said. As they reached the kingdom, they went decorating.

"Is there anymore lanterns, Feliciano?" Lovino asked his brother. Feliciano nodded.

"Sí, fratello. I'll het them right away." Feliciano then goes down the ladder and falls down. Holy Rome catches him.

"Are you alright, Feli?" Holy Rome asked. Feliciano nodded and went to the lanterns.

Meanwhile, Maria helped a young vendor get food for his store.

"Thank you, Maria-chan!" The little boy thanked. Maria kneeled at ruffles his hair.

"Your welcome, Mamoru." Maria said. The boy smiled. (A/N: IF ANYONE CAN GUESS WHERE I GOT THE NAME, I LOVE YOU.)

"One day, I'm going to be like Kuro-kun!" He said. Maria giggles.

"Hai. You will." She muttered and went to help her brothers. Kuro and Kiku are setting up banners at their house.

"Need help there, nīsan?" Maria asked them.

"No. We're fine here." Kuro and Kiku replied in unison. Maria giggles quietly.

"You two are like twins, I swear." Maria mentally said to the two.

A old lady calls for Maria.

"Nani, obaa-chan?" Mari asked her.

"I need help on setting up my flower shop!" The old woman said. Maria smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll help you." She said and approached her.

"This is going to be the best matsuri ever." Maria thought to herself.
