Chapter 67: 夢花火

"Nīsan! Nīsan!" Maria called out. Kuro and Kiku turned to her.

"Yes?" They asked in their similar voice.

"The fireworks!" She said, laughing and dragged them to the entrance of the Honda family house. They saw-yes, you guessed it-fireworks.

"See?" Maria convinced. Kiku gave a good chuckle.

"Yes, yes, thank you." Maria tilts her head. Kuro looked at the sky.

"Kaze fukeba, yume no manimani, yuku ate no nai boku wa utau..yume hanabi, sora no kanata he.." Kuro sang. Kiku widens his eyes.

"夢花火?" Kiku whispers. Kuro nodded.

"Hai, it is 夢花火." Maria looks at the sky. The dark, luminous sky.

"Those fireworks reminded me of a dream when I had amnesia." Maria admitted, intoxicated by the beauty of the fireworks.

"Really?" Luka said, coming to where they are. Maria nods.

"I think I foreseen the past or the future, I think. I heard a little girl's voice, saying, 'Nīsan! Look at the fireworks!'" Maria explained. Kiku smiled.

"That was the past, imotō." Kiku said quietly. Maria smiled widely.

"I know." Maria said. The fireworks were colored red, white, pink, purple and more!

"I wish everything is all happy, joyful.." Maria whispers and tears fall.

"Imotō, it's alright." Kuro said in sweet and gentle voice. Kuro and his twin hugs her.

"We'll never leave you again, I promise." Kiku continued. Kuro's face is wet with tears, too. Luka smiles and hugs them all.

"Hitori shinaide.." Maria sang.

"Yume hanabi.." Kiku and Kuro sang in unison.
Maria looks at the sky again.

"Umare!" She shouts, looking directly at the fireworks. Kuro smiled.

"We promise we'll never leave you, imotō, for we love you." Kuro mumbles.
