Chapter 51: The Little Prince

While Kiku carried Maria's body with the others, they saw a blond child. He was around 5 or 7 years old. He began to approach Maria. Kiku lays Maria's body at the grass, understanding what the child wants to do. He opened Maria's kimono and saw her bandage, stained with blood from Viktor's pipe.
"She is hurt! We need a new bandage for her." The child suddenly suggested. Kiku stared at the child.
"Where have you come from?" Kiku asked. The boy looks at Kiku.
"I came from a asteroid far away from here. It's name is Asteroid B-612." The child explained.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Kiku Honda, a Japanese samurai. The man with red eyes is my big brother, Kuro Honda. And the girl, she's my little sister, Maria Honda." Introduced Kiku. The boy stands up.
"I have no name, but many people address me as 'The Little Prince.'" the little boy said. Kiku smiled.
"Nice to meet you, little Prince." Kiku said, putting his hand out. The Little Prince reached Kiku's hand and shakes it.
"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Kiku. First, we need a bandage for her stomach." The Little Prince suggested. Emil kneels down and reaches for Maria's bandage pack.
"That's stealing, Mister. You must have a bandage pack for your own." The Little Prince scolded. Emil just smiled. The Little Prince tilted his head.
"Why did you smile, Mister?" The Prince asked.
"She helped many people before, including me and my big brother, so I will pay back her kindness, Little Prince." Emil replied in a gentle tone. He gets one and wraps it around Maria's stab wound from Viktor's pipe.
"There. Feeling better, friend?" Emil asks the injured woman. Maria nods.
"Arigatō, Emil-kun." She turns to the Prince, smiling.
"I heard your story before. Is your sheep healthy?" Maria asks. The Little Prince smiles, nodding.
"Yes. She is doing fine, along with my Unique Rose." Maria turned to Kiku with a favorable face.
"Please carry me, nīsan. I can't walk well. Please?" Kiku and Kuro chuckled.
"Fine." Kiku said, carrying Maria again.
"Don't let go, ok?" Maria nodded. Kuro approaches the Little Prince.
"Do you notice her white flower at her hair, Little Prince?" Kuro asked the prince, pointing at Maria's flower.
"Yes. Why does she wear something like that?"
"You see, Kiku made that flower for her when she was turning 7 years old." Out of nowhere, Lovino runs over Kiku and Maria, making Maria fall down.
"Itai[1]!" Maria cried. Kuro and the Prince ran towards them.
"I'm-a sorry, bella! I was not watching where I was going!" Lovino apologized. The Little Prince smiled again.
"It's ok, Mister. She must be fine." The Prince forgave. Reminding him of Feliciano, Lovino smilies back, patting the Prince's head.
"Grazie for forgiving me, bello." Lovino said. Kiku turned to Lovino.
"So, how is Antonio-san?" Kiku said. Lovino and Maria's eyes were covered with shadows.
"I will not tell you what happened to that bastard." They replied in unison. The Little Prince laughed a little.
Lovino turned to Kuro.
"Unidentified species are coming this way! They are immortal, but their injuries are not disappearing!" He said. Maria just stared at him in shock.
"I found those species long ago." A voice said.
"Edward." Ivan realized. The alchemist grinned.
"Let's beat up those bad boys, yeah?"
