Carl

Your pov:

I was just aimisly walking around Alexandrea looking for something to do, it was pretty quite except the moans coming from the dead on the other side of the gate. It did scare me some times during the night when I was alone, and the wind wasn't strong enough to drown out the noise, and the banging on the gate made it worse when the thought of them knocking it down and killing everyone inside was inside my head.

The weather was warm, humid almost. With the slightest breeze in the air that made the sweat trickle a little less down your face. The buildings here where pretty large for an apocalypse, and the street was pretty long. I had just turned one of the corners and I could see in the distance a boy and a girl.

The boy had light brown hair that shimmered in the light. It was shaggy just like the shape of the boy I love, the boy who loves me back. The boy who hugs me and cuddles me when I'm scared at night. and the girl had blonde hair that looked greasy. It came down to mid thigh that looked just like my best friend.

The closer I got, the more it looked like they where kissing. The closer I got the more It looked like they where my friends. The closer I got the more it looked like the boy I love was cheating on me.

The moment I released they where and he was. The boy I loved, the boy that loved me back. The boy who used to cuddle me when I was scared was kissing my best friend.

I stood there for a moment, tears prickling my eyes "how could you" I whispered "how could you!" I said louder grabbing both of there attentions.

He stood there in shock, wide eyes and open mouth "I-im sor- I'm sorry" he said stepping closer to me "she- she. It wasn-" he tried to explain himself, he tried to blame it on her. All he got was a glare from her and a slap from me.

"Why would you do this to me?" I asked, barley audable. with a single tear falling down my face

"I'm sorry. Please forgive me baby. I love you so so much" he said, probably because he couldn't hear me. I couldn't believe he actually thought I would take him back. I couldn't believe he actually thought he loved me

"No! I fucking hate you, of course you don't love me. And here's me thinking I actually had a friend I could trust" I shouted mainly talking about my blonde haired friend. "And also, I thought you did love me as much as I loved you. It was all a lie. All the times we cuddled you had her stuck in your mind. All the times we stayed up talking about anything and everything you had her stuck in your mind. Well, I'll tell you what. You can have her stuck in your mind all you want when you're sucking her face off at night" I screamed. I was so angry at both of them. I couldn't deal with seeing there face again so I ran, I ran away. Far away

He didn't even bother coming to chase me which made me both sad but also happy

I sat in a corner bawling my eyes out, thinking of the great times we had together and wishing I could still be in his arms with his hot breathe in my hair and the smile plastered on my face

"Y/n?" A voice said. I knew it was Carl from a mile away. His voice was so
distinctive and I could reconise it anywhere.

"Are you okay?" He asked sitting down beside me putting his arm around me

"Does it look like I'm okay Carl? Does it look like I'm smiling? Does it look like I just came from a fucking field full of daisys and pixies?" I spat at him, instantly regretting it.

I saw the sad look in his eyes when he looked down at him lap pulling his arm out from behind me

" Carl I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you, I'm just so sick and tired of relationships" I said looking into his eyes

"Well maybe you just haven't been in the right relationship" he said his face getting closer

"What do you mean?" There was no point in asking that question because right after I said it his lips crashed into mine

It was short but sweet and don't get me wrong, I loved it

"Now is the part where I say I love you"
