[MIKU'S POV]
I'm really glad that I met Princess and to be loved by her. She's the first one who gave me a present in a not so special occasion like graduation, not because she's obliged to do it but because she wants it. I have never been experienced celebrating in my graduation day, elementary and highschool.
I don't have Mom and my Dad been so cold and workaholic when Mom died when I was eight years old. Kaye, my one and only siblings, doesn't even know that graduation day is needs to be celebrated even only with their family.
I remember, when Kaye graduated in Highschool, she asked me why her classmate were asking her if she's going to eat out with our family.
Hay! Humiga ako sa may couch with a smile on my lips. Kapag nakagraduate na din si Princess next year. I want to be there too, celebrating it with her.
Gabi na ako nakauwi sa pad ko. Nagdinner pa kami ni Kaye sa bahay nila Princess at inihatid ko pa sa bahay si Kaye.
Napatingin ako sa may center table at napansin ko ang envelope na nakapatong dun. Kukunin ko na sana ng magring ang telephone. Tumayo ako at sinagot iyon.
"Hello?" tinatamad kung sagot.
-Where have you been, son? I've been calling you for so many times and I also got there at your pad. Did you see the envelope?
"Yes." hindi na ako nagtaka na nakapasok siya sa pad ko.
-I already bought you ticket for flights tomorrow and--
"What? Flight for tomorrow?" nabigla kong tanong. Hindi ko na siya pinatapos sa susunod. "Why so soon? I'm not yet prepared!" hindi pa ako nakakapagpaalam kay Princess!
-Is there something else to be prepared? I already talked to my secretary to deal with all the documents to be needed. So you don't have to worry and I already search for some colleges to choose from. It's all in there at the envelope.
"But Dad!"
-no buts. Your flight is ten o’clock in the morning. And also check your account, I deposited money. If you need more, talk to my secretary.
Magsasalita pa sana ako kaso ay naputol na ang linya. Ang ibig sabihin lang nun ay nasabi na niyang lahat ang gusto niyang sabihin.
Napabuntong hininga na lang ako at bumalik sa couch. Umupo ako at tiningnan ang laman nun. Isang plane ticket and some documents.
Napasandal nalang ako at habang hawak hawak ang envelope. Napahawak din ako sa noo ko at pumikit.
Paano ko pa sasabihin to kay Princess? She might be sleeping now and I know she'll wake up late tomorrow.
Tumayo na ako at kinuha ang cellphone ko. Pumunta na ako sa room ko.
Tinatype ko na ang number ni Princess ng magring ang cellphone ko.
Ikey
Calling...
"Oh why?" sagot ko agad.
-I thought masaya ka ngayon? Bakit ganyan boses mo?
"Bakit ka ba napatawag?" tanong ko na lang.
-wala lang. Haha! Kamusta?
"Tss! Not good. My flight will be tomorrow."
