33. Meeting Jensen at SPN Con (Jensen x Reader)

Okay, I know. This definitely isn't a Dean or Sam or Cas imagine. But, it's Jensen's 38th birthday, and I really need to write this and dissolve into a puddle of tears. If you want to read my super sappy, disgustingly sad little bit to Jensen at the end, feel free.

You were standing in line crazy excited. You had dragged yours parents to the line as soon as you entered the building. You knew it was going to be a really long line, but in the end it was worth it.

You were at Supernatural Con. After begging your parents for months, and saving up to help pay for the trip, they finally caved. You had spent weeks picking out outfits, and triple checking to make sure the tickets were in the right place.

Now the time had come, you were about to meet your idol, Jensen Ackles.

Your parents had annoyance in their eyes about your excitement. They couldn't understand why you were so excited to meet a person. But, they didn't need to get it.

It felt like you were waiting in line for hours, and most likely it actually was hours, but many of the fans that were waiting in line with you kept you company.

You discussed the latest episodes, your favorite ships, the deceased characters you missed most, and some of your favorite monsters the boys had fought in the show. Eventually, it came time for the person in front of you to take a picture with Jensen, and your heart was beating out of your chest.

There he was in front of you. Casually wearing jeans and a plaid shirt. His hair was in it's usual spikes, and you could see the scruff from the distance. There was a sense of familiarity about him. You felt as if you had already met him.

The picture was snapped, and Jensen hugged the crying fan that you'd spent forever talking to for the last time. Then it was your turn.

With sweaty palms, you gulped and started walking up to him.

The closer you got, the more gorgeous he actually was. Your parents had been ushered past so they wouldn't get in the way.

The second Jensen said Hi, you burst into tears. He smiled and hugged you, and he allowed you a second to compose yourself. He asked you how you wanted to pose, and with a smile on your face you told him.

He smiled and agreed. When you had assumed your pose, the picture was snapped. You started crying again, and hugged him one more time.

He thanked you for being such a loyal viewer of the show, and told you how amazing it was to meet you.

You were floating as you went out to get the picture.

Everything was perfect.

Okay, so I don't know if this is completely accurate but, this is just how I imagine the experience to be. I really hope that one day I can find out for myself.

EMOTIONAL BLURB STARTS HERE -

Jensen has been such a huge factor in my life, and I can't help but adore him. Him, Jared, and Misha have just been so amazing, as has the rest of the Supernatural crew.

I actually am so thankful to have, even a small part of them, in my life.

So, just in case, thank you Jensen, for being in my life, and for making me happy.

Happy Birthday. I hope it's an amazing one :)
