" Dear Sam,

I like you. I see you look at me in class. Do you want to be my boyfriend? Fill in the yes box if you do.

[ ]Yes [ ]No "

The handwriting was barely legible, and the fingerprints from the still-liquid ink surrounded the words. At this time, the day you were writing this note, Sam had left school for what seemed like forever. He was gone for weeks on end, constantly visiting the counselors office due to low attendance. His older brother, Dean, came to school even less. The Winchesters were mysterious, the kind that you liked. Your young brain couldn't comprehend any reason as to why kids could be gone so much. But, eventually, the principal quit caring about how their records were, he just let them come whenever they actually came.

Luckily, on February 17th, to be exact, Sam showed up to school. This note was still in the back of your Lucky Brand jeans pocket and was slowly wilting away. Today was the day. Today you were going to ask him to be your boyfriend.

You were in the same class as Sam and obviously had lunch with him. He used to always sit alone by the door. The moment the bell rang he would always storm to class and barely make the shot of his food into the trashcan. On the way to your bus at the end of the day you would always see him hop into some old black car from the 60's.

At lunch, you beat him to his usual table. He was holding his lunch tray in his hands anc as he reached you, his eyebrows furrow and the look of confusion on his face couldn't of been clearer. "Why are you sitting here?" He doesn't even set his stuff down. He just stands, in awe.

"Can I not sit with you?" You take a bite of your, disgustingly yellow, mac n' cheese and he continues to stare at you. "You might as well sit down. You're food will get colder than it already is."

Hesitantly, he sets his, also disgustingly yellow, mac n' cheese on the lunch table. He set the spoon directly into the plate and it just stood straight up without moving. "Why are you sitting here?"

"You already asked me that, silly."

"No. You don't sit here. You always sit with Abbey and Jerra. Why are you here?" He motions to your usual lunchtable, where Abbey and Jerra were sitting and eerily staring at you.

You mouth, "Stop!". You sharply turn your head, hoping that you prove the fact that you do not want to talk to them.

"I, I wanted to give you something. Is that okay?" Your toes clenched together and your body grew tense. He nodded and you reached into your back pocket, hoping you don't rip the paper.

Your hands shook as you extruded your arm towards him. He opened the poorly-taped flap and held it directly in front of his face. Your instant reaction was to run, so that's what you did. While the paper covered his vision, you silently picked up your tray and darted out of the room. The bathroom was just to the right of the cafeteria, and you ran into a stall and sat both feet on the stool. You didn't want him to find you.

Your teacher put out announcement, school-wide, telling you to get back to the classroom. Unfortunately, if you didn't come, you would of gotten ISS which is a no-no according to your parents. You walk into the classroom, head down, and your teacher, Ms. Rich, sighs. "Y/n, sit down."

Your desk was exactly seven away from Sam's. His stare was deep, you could feel it with every inch of your body. Your head was still bowed and Sam didn't dare look away. Ms. Rich brought over a neon-green piece of paper, "Fill it out int he safe-seat. If you don't bring it back tomorrow with your parents signature then you're not allowed to work in partner groups the rest of the week."

You pop out of your chair and speed walk to the safe seat in the back of the room. Fortunately, Sam sat in the front of the room and was no longer able to stare at you without being suspicious. Your mind is too cluttered to fill out the Think Sheet so you just end up doodling on the sides of the paper. For a moment, you look up and you see Sam holding the paper that you gave to him at the lunch table.

"Okay everyone, excluding you in the back Y/n, partner up and work on the second page in the packet I gave you yesterday." The class nods in response to what she said and everyone makes eyes at who they want to partner with. But Sam, on the other hand, looks straight at you. He gets up and heads back to where you were. Your body did the same thing like at the lunch table, your toes clench together and muscles become very tense. He puts the note on your desk and walks away.

You wanted to open it, so bad. But, if Ms. Rich caught you doing something other than writing on the Think-Sheet you would get into even more trouble. So, you save it for when you are leaving school on the bus.

-

" Y/n, I like you too. But, I'm leaving for good tomorrow. If I would have known sooner I would have done something. Sorry.

- Sam "

And, under his name were two boxes that read the following,

" [x] Yes [ ] No "

That was the last of Sam Winchester you ever saw.
