Colby Imagine for Ellie

Ellie's POV

I had just been driving down Sunset Boulevard when the drunk driver slammed into the drivers side of my car at 98 miles an hour at 6 in the afternoon. The car has flipped three times and landed upside down. I had been on the phone with Colby at the time but now I lay unconscious in the front seat with blood oozing out of my forehead.

When I was in the back of the ambulance I heard people shouting medical things that I didn't understand but I knew it couldn't be good based on how horrible and broken my body felt.

I had two surgeries. One to fix the internal bleeding from one of my arteries. The other to fix my severely broken left arm. They took multiple hours each and it didn't help the pain anywhere.

I woke up with Colby by my side holding my hand crying. My horse voice choked out his name and he looked at me. We talked about what happened and how he didn't want me to scare him like that again. The other driver hadn't been injured but was arrested for drunk driving.

All I cared about was that everything was okay and I'd be with Colby a little bit longer.
