Luke and I arrive at Jack's house in less than ten minutes. I notice another car in his driveway that I don't recognize. It's probably that slut's car.

"Are you ready for this?" Luke asks, bringing me out of my thoughts.

I sigh. "I don't know. We've been together for so long, I don't think I can do it."

He takes my hand in his and intertwines our fingers. "You can do this," he kisses the top of my hand, "I believe in you, Leia."

His words calm me down and cause a smile to appear on my face.

I kiss his cheek and say, "Thank you, Luke."

I take a deep breath, turn off the car, and unbuckle my seatbelt. "You're coming with me, right?" I ask Luke.

He smirks and nods. "You sure you don't like me?" he asks, teasingly.

I glare at him. "Shut up, shit head!"

I open my door and step out of the vehicle, with Luke doing the same.

We walk up to the front door, and I use my key that Jack gave me months ago to unlock the door.

The second we walk in, I hear the loud moans of a woman coming from upstairs.

My blood starts to boil, and I furiously run up the stairs. The louder the moans are, the worse my anger gets.

I get to his bedroom and practically kick down the door.

When I walk in, I see Jack with his head between a woman's legs.

The woman notices me before Jack does. When she stops moaning, Jack slowly turns his head around and has a look of guilt on his face when he sees me.

"How long has this been going on, Jack!?" I shout after Jack and his whore got dressed.

"Baby, please. Let me e-"

"No! Don't you dare call me baby! You have no right! Now answer the fucking question!" I say, cutting him off.

"Three months..."

That really hits me hard.

Three months?

He's been cheating on me for three months, and I never noticed?

"How could you? How could you claim to love me and then do this to me?" I say, trying to hold back my tears but failing miserably.

"I'm sorry... I never meant for this to happen. I... I never meant to fall in love with her..." he says, barely above a whisper.

He loves her?

"Y- you... l-love h-her?" I stutter, not even trying to hide my tears anymore.

He nods slowly.

I sniffle and wipe away my tears.

"Fine... Goodbye forever, Jack," I say and quickly run out of the room.

I run past Luke, down the stairs, and out of the house.

I stop at my car and pound my fist on it.

I have so many feelings mixed together: anger, sadness, heartbreak...

There's so much hurt inside of me. I feel... broken.

What did I do wrong?

I suddenly feel someone slowly wrap their arms around my waist and kiss the top of my head. It's a fairly familiar touch, so I know who it is.

"Leia, I'm so sorry. You deserve so much better," Luke says.

For whatever reason, Luke calms me down, just by being there.

For the past few years, I've been nothing but rude to Luke. I always thought that he was treating me the way he was because he wanted to get in my pants, but now I that that was never the case.

I always thought that Luke was a jerk, and Jack was a really sweet, caring person. Turns out, it's the exact opposite.

"Thanks, Luke," I say and turn around in his arms to face him.

He looks into my eyes and occasionally glances at my lips.

"Damn, I want to kiss you," he mumbles under his breath, but I hear him clearly.

"What's stopping you?" I ask, having no idea what the hell in doing.

Luke gives me a surprised look, and honestly, I surprised myself when I said that.

"I can't, Leia. You're in a vulnerable state, and that wouldn't be right. Plus, you literally just got out of a relationship with my brother, and I need you to have real feelings for me. I've been burned before."

I look at him with concern. I don't know what he's talking about, but from the look on his face, I know he's being sincere and that now is not the right time to ask.

I give him a weak smile and say, "I understand."

He kisses my forehead and says, "Now, let's go hang out at your place like we agreed.

I nod and kiss his cheek. "Sounds good."
