Carlisia's pov
Darkness and peace was all I felt. As if I was floating on water. Letting the water consume me in its gentle waves. Letting it guide me. The darkness was infinite, an endless pit of water that carried me through life.
I saw a light. A blinding light that made my flinch. Loud sounds made their way to my ears making me want to curl up in a ball. The loud sounds and blinding light made every inch of my body even more tired, I felt exhausted.
"Ugh..." I groaned as I opened my eyes. Underneath my fingertips were soft, smooth, silk sheets. Dark blue silk sheets that matched the color of the walls. It was a simple room. Not much furniture. There
was a bedside table of the left and right side of the bed. A lamp was on both tables. A small dresser and closet sat over in the right corner.
It wasn't much to look at, but then I noticed a door across the room. I stood up and walked over to the door passing a window and seeing my reflection. My torn clothes dirty and worn out. My makeup
smeared old and mixed with dirt. My hair tangled. I looked hideous. I walked out of the door to see a hallway. It wasn't anything special just a hall. I walked down the hallway using Ry's sent to guide me.
I soon found a door that smelled very strongly of his sent. Although he is a part of this pack now he still has a little bit of our old packs sent. Coffee beans,cherries, and surprisingly like damp dirt or soil and like a panda rosa Pine tree.
I knocked on the door and a moment later Ry opened the door. He was only in his boxers and his hair was messy meaning he just woke up. " hey I need to clean myself up and get some new clothes, but I
don't know what to do so..." He groaned in annoyance and turned around. " Mariah seems about your size. Here see if these fit." He said tossing me a pair of black leggings and a dark blue superman logo
long sleeve shirt. "Thanks... a shower and some mascara would be nice..." I didn't want to be rude. " Ohh um.. Here" he said throwing a bottle of mascara. " the bathroom is down the hall to
your right. The blue door" he said. " kay thanks " I said before I statered walking down the hall. " at least
the tears stopped" I said to myself. I walked down the hall about maybe ten feet before I came across a blue door. I opened the door to the bathroom and turned on the light and quickly found all
of the things I would need. There were lots of fluffy towels and many different types of shampoos and
conditioners. I stripped out of my old clothing and threw them away. I stepped into the shower and turned on the water. As the warm water hit mg back I decided to get everything done as quickly as I
possibly could. I took care if everything that I needed to dried of and blow dried my hair put on my mascara and clothes.
But when I stepped outside if the bathroom door the most alluring sent that has ever touched my nose hit me like a brick. It smelled like fire, pine, and a mixture of vanilla and roses. And that's when I saw him.
