Danny was laying there, on a dissection table, one minute. The next, he was with the love of his life. Sam. He missed her so much. Her personality, her warmth, her sarcasm. He missed everything about her.
He was in the Nasty Burger, Sam was sitting next to him. Tucker right across. "I just don't see how you can't go without meat. It's the best thing I have ever tasted!" Tucker exclaimed. It was the usual argument between Sam and Tuck. "Have you seen how they treat those animals. They are given growth hornomes AND they are kept in tight spaces," Sam stated. She took another bite of her salad.
Danny woke with a jolt. He found his head on the softest pillow he had ever been on, his body was covered with a blanket. No wonder he was so warm. He shook the blanket off and looked at the clock. 12:45. He slept half the day away! Danny looked around and didn't find anyone. He started to panic. He couldn't help it. They would put his mind through a seris of simulations. One where he finally escaped and found a new home, only to wake up the next morning to them gone. He hated that simulation. He stopped running. Maybe this was one. He started to pace like a wild animal in a cage. They had treated him so nicely, how could they be part of this.
The familiar sound of a door opening caught his attention. He looked through the bars of the stairs. Yusei was standing there. Then a little blue-haired kid came running through. Behind him was a little girl, same age and hair color.
"So where is he?" The little boy asked, very excited.
"Leo, did you hear what Yusei said? It's scared of new people. You need to calm down." The little girl's pigtails swayed as she shook her head. Leo spoke up, "yeah, but he also said that it warmed up to them easily." "Leo your hopeless." She looked up at Yusei. "Luna's right Leo, I don't know how it will react to you two. Luna might have a special connection with it though."
Yusei started to walk up the stairs, tawords the kitchen. Each step he took made Danny's heart beat faster. When he reached the table, he bent down. Then signaled for Luna to come over. She bent down on her knees, sitting on her heels. She wore a red shirt with a pink over jacket. A pair of white shorts bearly touching her knees.
Luna streatched out her hand, pulling the jacket's sleeve away from her forearm. A scar in the shape of a dragon claw. Danny stared at it, Luna noticed his glare. She looked at Yusei as if looking for a way to explain. "It's the mark of the Crimson Dragon. There are five of us." Yusei removed his brown glove and pushed his sleeve up. A scar of a dragon head was there. "Jack has the wings and Crow has the tail," Yusei explained. He put his glove back on. "Another friend of mine has the other claw. Her name is Akiza." Yusei looked at Danny then to Luna. She tried again, this time he sniffed her hand before letting her stroke his head. The feeling reached to his ice core. There was a connection that he didn't feel with Crow or Yusei.
He unconsiously layed on her lap, not wanting to leave her. He looked at Yusei. He didn't look suprised that this happened. He felt Luna shift under him, trying to get comfortable. Danny got up and let Luna stand. When she walked away, he started to follow. He didn't want her to leave him. There was something about her that made him want to stay with her.
She sat on the couch, next to her twin. Danny hesitated. The male twin had a single ponytail. He had a dark blue shirt covered with a light blue over jacket. The shorts were the same as his twin.
He jumped up and layed on Luna again, this time he kept his distance from Leo. His energy was a little too much for the halfa. He looked at the clock. 1:00. Did he fall asleep or something? He layed his head down on the arm of the couch and let his mind drift to sleep.
