"No way!" I yell, looking at my mom and dad in disbelief. "I am not riding with that jerk to California. I refuse to. Just let me stay here."
Mom sighs, "Honey, you leave for college in two and a half months. This all for you and Ashtrid. This is why we are taking this trip. Karen and John are taking Lilly and Jacob, so their car will be full. And you already know our car will be full with the twins and Sadie."
"Then, let the twins or Sadie ride with Ashtrid," I say.
"Olivia, you are going in this trip, and riding with Ashtrid. That's final," Dad says. I groan then stomp off to my bedroom. "We leave tomorrow, so you better pack!" Dad calls.
I slam my bedroom door then hop onto my bed. This will be the worst summer ever.
