There's an unexplainable
Subtle warmth to
A simple "hello".
In the misunderstood
Words of someone
You feel a tug of desire for.
And you don't know
Exactly why you feel
This particular way.
Maybe because
You are desperate?
Willing to hold on to any
sign of compassion?
Or are there real feelings
Real passion, hidden deep within
The masked man.
