Expectations shatter true perspective.
They smash the reality of the way the world works,
and replace it with a shiny faux diamond edition.
One that blinds you to the facts.
One that replaces truth with opinion.
It surrounds your life is a large opaque box,
but you can't even notice the blur.
It seems normal to you.
But, what is normal?
There's no real definition to normal,
because it's different for everyone.
The shine gets too bright,
and takes away judgement,
estimation,
thought-processing.
Eventually,
you get trapped inside an image of white diamond,
and when the shine fades,
all you have left is the wreckage he left.
Goodnight.
