She felt him hug her tighter to him and just let him do it. He needed comfort now and she was ready to give it to him. She let her own arms tighten around him as she buried her head under his neck. She could even feel his pain as he spoke next. How could anyone do this to him? She would never cheat on him, simply because she knew that she couldn't be with another man - she just wasn't like that.
But it wasn't the time to think about herself. That would make her selfish. She sighed as she felt a kiss on her forehead and smiled a little at the words that left his mouth later. He was happy. That was all that mattered to her at the moment.
"I'm happy too," she whispered.
