Chapter 16: Lena's B-Day Part 1

Tuesday Afternoon
Jude's House

Connor's POV:

I was sitting on Jude's bed with him laying down beside me playing on his iPad. "So when is the birthday party going to start" I asked Jude.
"It is going to start at 6:00, but Lena won't be here until 6:30." I then laid down beside Jude with him still playing on his iPad. This moment reminded me of when my father kicked me out of my house, I hate him. I then wrapped my arm around his head and stared into his eyes. He then turned off his iPad and put it beside him and turned to look into my eyes. His eyes were beautiful, amazing.
"Your eyes look... great" I say noticing that gay voice I now sometimes talk in.
"You look the same" Jude says as he goes in for a kiss and I lean in too. We both kissed and I put my tongue in his mouth. I then got on top of him, we were about to start a makeout session with our shirts off, and possible our pants, but then I heard the door open. I quickly jumped off of Jude and turned around to see Stef standing behind us, uh oh.
I then hear Jude say nervously "Mom... I, I am sorry I didn't..."
Then Stef interrupted "Guys, I don't think it is a good idea to share a bed, or maybe even a room" then she spoke again "But in the mean time lets just go help with setting up the party."

Jude's POV:

I went downstairs with Connor and Stef behind me. She just caught us making out, so hopefully we don't get punished. As we walked into the kitchen with my face still red, Callie was sitting at the kitchen table with a soda. "Hey what have you guys been up to" Callie asked as she gets up to go to the trash can to throw away her empty soda.
"NOTHING" I say quickly.
"Clearly you guys have been up to something" Callie replies but then Stef interrupts.
"They don't want to talk about it" she says as Connor and I lock our hands together and start to walk to the backyard where I see balloons, tables, food, along with Brandon and Mariana.
"So you guys told Mariana" I say as Connor and I walk over to the table.
Then Mariana speaks "Actually I found out because Brandon sent me a text about the party that was suppose to go to Callie." As Stef goes over to help Mariana and Brandon, Connor and I, with our hands still locked, sit down and have our legs close together. Connor then gives me a quick kiss on the lips and I pray no one saw that.

Callie's POV:

I was drying my hands off with a paper towel because I just washed my hand. I look outside the window that is in front of the sink to see Jude and Connor very close together at a table. They stare into each other's eyes until I see them... kiss. I stare into open space and think, why does Jude want to be gay. I am not homophobic like Connor's father is I hear, but I don't want him to be gay because he will be bullied or even hurt, I am looking out for Jude.

Jude's House

Connor's POV:

I just heard that Lena's car pulled up front of the house. I was crouched in Jude's backyard behind a bush with Jude waiting for Lena to come out back so we can yell SURPRISE. Jude and I were still waiting with only the two of us behind the bush. I wanted to go over to him and start making out but in case someone saw us, I can't. I then saw people start to stand up and I could tell Lena was here so I stood up and saw Lena there coming outside. Then everyone yelled "SURPRISE." Now it is time for this party to get started.
