(2:30 p.m.)
E-Boy: What happened?
Me: Car bomb. His whole squad died.
E-Boy: I'm so sorry Emmy.
Me: Please stop saying that. I'm so fucking tired of people saying that. If I hear it one more time I'm going to break my fucking phone.
E-Boy: Okay. How are your aunt and uncle taking it?
Me: As well as anyone who just lost their only son.
E-Boy: Your sister?
Me: She's upset, but they weren't close. She's fine. She's not...
E-Boy: Dying inside?
Me: Yeah...
Me: How did you know anyway?
E-Boy: My brother and him were friends
...
E-Boy: Emmy?
Me: How do you know so much about me E?
E-Boy: I told you, we were friends once.
Me: We're not friends now?
E-Boy: Not like we were.
Me: You don't have to worry anymore. I stopped looking for you.
E-Boy: I know.
...
...
E-Boy: Are you okay?
Me: No.
E-Boy: Do you want to call me?
Me: I don't need words E. I need a person.
E-Boy: I know Emmy, but you know I can't.
Me: Ya.
E-Boy: Are you coming back to school tomorrow.
...
E-Boy: Ember?
