(4:00 p.m. - Two days before Christmas Break)
"Hey Ember!"
"Hi Ellis."
I gave the big buff boy running towards me a small smile as I turned to face him. The nervous look in his eyes made my stomach flip though.
"Hey, so my friend, uh, gave me this... for you..."
"Yeah?"
"Here."
He grabbed my hand and placed a piece of paper firmly into my palm before turning on his heel and high tailing it out of there.
Um, okay...
I opened the small folded paper and frowned down at scribbling written on it.
Meet me at the bench where you broke your arm in fourth grade.
Was Ellis... was Ellis E? But he said his friend... Ethan?
Looks like I was fixing to find out.
