(4:30 p.m.)
E-Boy: Meet me in the library in twenty minutes.
Me: What?
E-Boy: I want to hold you.
E-Boy: Meet me in twenty minutes.
Me: But I thought you don't want me to know who you are...?
E-Boy: I don't. Not yet, and you won't... Just trust me okay?
Me: Okay...
...
Me: Where are you?
E-Boy: In the back.
I let out a shaky breath as I slipped my phone into my back pocket and wrapped my arms around my waist. I don't know why I was so nervous. He even said I wasn't going to be able to meet him... I didn't know what to expect.
I walked through the countless dimly lit rows of bookshelves until I reached the far corner of the library. The one where light just barely touched the dusty book covers.
"E?"
I jumped in surprised when a strong pair of arms shot out of no where and wrapped around my back.
"Sh, Emmy."
His voice was gruff, and kind of hoarse. I could tell he was trying to hide what he really sounded like.
"You scared me."
"I'm sorry."
Then I was turning around quickly and burying my face into the thick sweater that covered his chest.
"I got you, beautiful."
Then I cried.
