The room was dark, it has been that way since they threw you in a few hours ago. You are sitting in the Slammer. Waiting for those 12 hours to be over so you could go back to the Glade, and ofcourse, back to your bestfriend Gally. They threw you in because for some reason, Alby thinks you don't do your task in the Glade well enough and he wanted to make sure you understood that everyone has to do his own part in this place. Ofcourse you did your job! You really had no idea why he would believe otherwise.

From what you could tell by looking outside (through the small open spaces between the woods that make the walls of the Slammer) you can see the Gladers working and it tells you it's probably around lunchtime. That means you're going to be stuck here for at least another 6 hours.

You're really bored since there's nothing else to do except for thinking about stupid stuff and looking outside. You actually start missing your job.

"Y/n! Dinner." You hear a familiar voice saying from behind the locked door of your, well, prison cell. Gally opens the door and walks inside. He hands you a plate with some lasagne on it and a knife and fork. You take a bite and remember all those times you asked Frypan to make this more often. Guess he finally listened to you.

"Thanks Gally." "No probs. Have to give my prisoner some food don't I?" You roll your eyes and take another bite. Gally sighs and sits down on his knees in front of you.

"Look. I know you didn't do anything wrong and it was Alby's fault to put you in here. But that doesn't mean I can't keep you company right?" You smile. Gally really was a good friend of yours after all. Only, the past few weeks you've been feeling kind of different towards him. You don't know if you are in love with him, but you are definitely feeling something more then just friendship.

"Y/n? I asked you something." You realize that while you were thinking about your feelings towards Gally, he asked you something and you didn't hear it.

"Hmm? Sorry I wasn't paying attention." Gally chuckles and looks up at you. "I asked what you were thinking about. You were smiling very brightly. Is my y/n in looveeee?" He asks playfully. "What? No!" You know you answered to quickly and Gally's eyes widen. "Who is it?" He asks curiously. "No-one what are you talking about."

Gally laughs and looks deep into you eyes. "You know you can tell me right? I'm your bestfriend y/n. You can trust me." Yeah. You wish he wouldn't be your bestfriend, but something more then that.

"It's not important because he doesn't feel the same way about me anyway." You sigh and look down. "How do you know that for sure. Did you tell him?" "No. But I just know he won't."

"Well then he's stupid. I bet every guy in this entire Glade would kill, just to get you as his girlfriend. Including me by the way." Wait? What did he say? "What?" "You heard me y/n. And I know I shouldn't be telling this, especially after what you told me, but I really like you." You smile and look up at him.

"Gally? Are you being serious?" He sighs and nods his head. "Dead serious. Ever since you arrived here. But y/n? Who's the guy you like?" Gally asks with a sad expression on his face. If he only knew that he was the guy I'm in love with.

You take a deep sigh before saying: "It's ......... Gally. You're the guy I like."

Gally looks up at you with a surprised look and he looks deep in your eyes before leaning in to kiss you. He presses his lips on yours and they're surprisingly soft, which you didn't expect from Gally. At first, you don't respond due to the shock, but then you close you eyes and follow his lead.

After a while, you lean back and look into his eyes. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Gally asks. You nod happily and kiss him softly on his cheek.

"Well, we can start doing couply things after you get out of the Slammer. See you in 5 hours y/n." He walks out of the Slammer after kissing you once again. After Gally left, you spend the following hours thinking about what just happened.
