I got up from my bed,feeling giddy and excited for the day.I went to the shower and took my bath.I put on my red and black flannel shirt and black jeans paired with black Vans shoes.I applied a bit of make up and checked myself for the last time.After I was done,I took my sling bag and went downstairs.
"Morning,Omma.Appa." I greeted my parents as I took my sit.
"Morning..where are you going?" Omma asked.
"Going out with my friend." I answered and ate my breakfast.
"Where to?" Appa asked this time.
"I don't know yet..you don't have to worry,okay?" I assured them.
"Ask Miss Gong to follow you." Appa said.
This is my parents.Being overprotective of me.Sometimes, I felt being controlled by them but then they are doing this because they love me so,I got nothing to object with them being overprotective.
"It's okay..I can take care of myself.Besides, my friend is strong enough to protect me" I answered and smiled as I thought of him.
"Omma,where's Seokjin?" I asked her.I got a brother named Kim Seokjin.He's cool but sometimes he nags at me just like my mom yet I still love him because he's my only brother.
"He went out to his cooking class." Omma answered.Seems like my brother and I are complete opposites.I'm like the guy of the house and he's the lady.We continued eating in silence until I heard the door being knocked.
"Oh!That must be my friend." I stood up and ran to the door.I opened the door and there stood Jungkook.My best friend since middle school.I actually got a crush on him since we were in tenth grade and it remained the same as the years passed.I'm just afraid that he might not feel the same as me and I don't want our friendship to be ruined.
"Good morning,princess.Are you ready to go?" He said and showed me his signature bunny smile.
"Oh,Yes!Come inside and meet my parents first." I invited him in and dragged him to the dining room.
"Omma!Appa!This is my best friend Jungkook.Jungkook,meet my parents." I introduced them.Weird,right?My parents are always busy so,they don't really know who my friends are.
"Annyeonghaesayo,Mr and Mrs Kim." He bowed politely.
"Annyeonghaesayo,Jungkook.Have you eaten your breakfast?If not you can join us." Omma asked.
"I already had my breakfast..thank you,Mrs Kim." Jungkook replied.
"So,what brings you here?" Appa asked.
"I'm going out with him,appa." I answered before Jungkook could.
"Are you dating her?" Appa asked Jungkook again.What's with this sudden question?
"A-aniya.." Jungkook shook his head.
"Better not because she's not your standard." Appa said coldly.Why did he say that?!We have a guest and he is my best friend.My best friend!Jungkook just kept quiet with his head bowed down.He must be hurt because of my dad.
"Okay,you kids can go now.Don't mind about him.He was just stressed up because of work." Omma sent us to the door.
"Jungkook-ah,I'm sorry for what he said earlier.I know he didn't mean it." Omma apologised to him.
"Omma,we'll go now.I'll call you when I arrive to the place I'm going." I hugged and kissed her cheek.
"Alright,enjoy!" Omma waved at us as Jungkook drives off.
"Kookie,I'm sorry for what my dad said to you.I know he's been stressing up these days.Our company got a financial problem so,I hope you understand." I said to him and he just nodded.
"Oh!Come on!Where's the cheerful Kookie?" I cheered him up and pinched his chubby cheek.He chuckled and pushed my hand away.
"Stop that,Soyeon.I'm driving.Remember,safety first,safety second and coolness third." He reminded me and I nodded at him.
"Where are we going anyways?" I asked him.
"How bout we go to the bowling alley?It's been a long time since we last played right?" He said and I agreed.It's time for my victory.I always lose to him every time I played games but now,who knows I might get lucky and will get my victory?It's going to be fun!
We arrived at the bowling alley and decided to go with two sets."Yah,are you ready to lose again?" Jungkook asked and smirked."Let's wait and see,Jeon Jungkook." I replied him and rolled my eyes."Okay!Let's make a deal.If I win,then you'll have to obey with me.If you win,I'll do the same to you so,deal or not?" Jungkook raised his eyebrows playfully and I shook his hand."It's a deal,Jeon Jungkook." I said to him and got ready.
I took the balls that I'm going to use for the competition."I'll go first." Jungkook said as he took his bowling ball and got ready to bowl.After he found the right time,he calmly throw the ball.He got eight out of ten."That's impressive,Jungkook." I commented."Wait until I got those two extra pins down." He pointed at the extra two pins left.Again,he bowls for the second time and he got a spare."Woo!!I made it!Now it's your turn,Soyeon." He said from behind me.
I took a purple bowling ball and aimed for the pins.Then,I throw the ball and I got nine out of ten."Yes!!!Finally!!" I jumped in excitement and unpurposely hugged Jungkook."Finally,what?"he asked looking down at me."Fi-finally I can beat you." I stuttered because I was still shocked.Why did I hug him?
He chuckled and ruffled my hair."Yeah..well that was the start.Good for you because now,I'm going to bring you down." He whispered to me which got my heart beats faster.There's no other boy who could make my heart go crazy like this except Jungkook.Jungkook,why are you shaking my heart?
We played and played until the final round.At the end,it was still the same the winner is Jungkook and now I have to follow his words.Uh,so annoying!I waited for him as he paid for our parking ticket."So,where are we going next,boss?" I asked sarcastically."Let's watch Captain America The Winter Soldier.My celebrity crush is in the movie." He said."Yeah,you're the only person that I know who has a huge celebrity crush on Iron Man.How is that even possible?" I replied him.
He headlocked me and it got some of the passers by attention."Yah!What are you doing?People are staring at us."I said to him."That's another prize for you since you lose the game." He said and put his arm around my shoulder."Aw..what a sweet couple." One lady said."Thank you!My girlfriend is really happy to hear that." Jungkook pulled me closer and I just stood still.Did he just call me his girlfriend?Oh,Jeon Jungkook..I wish what you said was real.
"Hey,why did you call me your girlfriend?" I asked him after we entered the car."Yah..you're a girl so I call you a girl friend." He said and chuckled.I nodded and looked out of the window.I felt like my heart was being stabbed.Why did I fall in love with him so hard?Now,I got myself hurt."Hey..are you okay?" He asked."I'm okay..focus on driving.Don't look at me." I said to him emotionlessly.
"Just tell me that you wanted to be my girlfriend.It's okay,I'm fine with it.Besides,we already look like a couple even when we're not." He said which caught me off guard."What are you thinking?Do you think I want to be your girlfriend?" I played hard to get."Oh..it's okay,I can find other girls out there if you don't want me." He answered.I scoffed and looked out again.What if he really find one?I'm going to be in a one sided love then..oh..so sad.I'm going to be a lonely lonely lonely whale.
