When I got home Liyah was cooking dinner. Smelled good and the food wasn't even ready yet.

"Hey baby." I walked in taking off my jacket

"Hey." She said stirring up something, "How was work?" She asked after I pecked her on the lips

"Long." I sighed

"It was only your first day." She laughed rubbing my back before stirring whatever it is she was stirring

"Where the kids?"

"Upstairs playing."

"Where T?"

"Probably playing 2K still."

"Cool. I'ma go chill with him til dinner done."

"Just forget about me huh?" She asked wiping her hands a towel

"I could never forget about you baby." I pecked her lips multiple times

I went to the living room and TeQuan was in there playing 2K.

"Wanna get whooped real quick?"

"I was just practicing, but sure." He said

"I'ma get my Bulls on you." I laughed

"No fair man, fine I'll get the Knicks."

"Don't know why you tripping, you got JR and Melo."

"Carmelo?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"I saw him today." He said as I kissed my teeth

"No you didn't."

"Yes I did. Ask Liyah." He said, "She'll tell you, he was asking for her."

Carmelo Anthony came to my house while his wife came to my job.

"Liyah, can you come here real quick?"

"What you want?" She asked rubbing my head

"Carmelo?" I said

"Yeah, what about him?" She asked walking back to the kitchen

"Why was he here?" I asked following her

"He just stopped by to say hi." She said

"Well, I still don't like the fact that he was in my house." I said leaning against the counter top

"Chris, relax. He just stopped by to say hi." She walked up to me, "Why you acting like this? You're never insecure."

"I just don't feel comfortable with you talking to your ex." I said, "You probably feel the same way about me too."

"Not even. If you want to be friends and do a little catching up, it's fine by me. I trust you enough to not do anything outside of our relationship. Like for goodness sake were engaged. We should already know that what's in the past is the past and what is in the future is us." She said as she stood on her tippy toes to peck my lips

"So nothing happened?" I asked

"Nothing." She shook her head

"I hope not." I mumbled before kissing her

"Chris, come get the sticks." T yelled

"Aight. I'll see you later." I said pecking her lips one more time

"It's on now." I grabbed the controller

I feel like Chris knows something is up. Asking all them questions. He knows I would never cheat on him. Were engaged and I wouldn't do anything to destroy what we are creating.

"Dinner time.!!" I yelled

"Look bae, I'm sorry for tripping earliar, I should know that you won't step out on me." He kissed my cheek

"It's fine Chris. Just know that I will never disrespect you that way." I put my arms around his neck

"The same goes for me too." He kissed me

"Go wash up and get the kids." I playfully slapped his chest

"I'm on it bae." He smiled walking away

How did I end up with this man? After dinner, I put CJ and Ciara to sleep and TeQuan was still playing the game.

"Don't be up too late TeQuan. We do have Church in the morning." I said before going into Chris and I's room.

"Finally." Chris said putting his phone down, "Come here. I'm feeling some type of way about you." He smiled

"Don't you always?" I laughed

I woke up to Chris showering me in kisses.

"Boy." I pushed him away

"Woman, you better get up. It's Sunday." He said walking towards the bathroom

"Hey baby." Momma came up to me after the service

"Hey Mommy. You look beautiful." I hugged her

"So do you baby and Christopher is looking very handsome today." She said, "Bring my grandbabies over here." She said

Chris came up and wrapped his arms around me as the kids were conversating with my mom.

"We gotta go in a few. I got a client at 2:30."

"Leaving me so soon?" I laughed

"Not for long." He smiled

"Okay, Christopher."

"Watch how you say my name." He whispered to me as I laughed, "You know it turns your man on." He licked his lips

"You didn't get enough last night?"

"I don't think I'll ever." He said holding my hands

"You two look like you're in love." An eldery woman said

"Thank you." I smiled

"Love is just magical children. Love is what makes two people feel like whole. You two just look like a whole. Just beautiful. You kids married?"

"Engaged." Chris said

"How sweet. I remember when me and my husband were engaged. That was 65 years ago."

"Where is your husband now?" Chris asked

"He is with our heavenly father. Been there for 2 1/2 years." She said

"I'm sorry for your lost." I said

"Everybody lives and dies. It's apart of life...." She said
